Hello!

Following the birth of Baby Sussex in the early hours of Monday morning we have all been anxiously waiting to meet the new little Prince. Well wait no more!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first born child in the early hours of the morning of May 6th, 2019, weighing in at 7lbs. 3oz.

We also can finally stop guessing the little royal’s name.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to announce that they have named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” the Royal family said today.

The royal couple have spent a couple of days getting used to being a family of three and basking in that newborn baby smell before sharing a glimpse of their precious baby boy with the world.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan both looked so proud as they stood in front of the press and said he is such a calm baby.

Meghan declared: ‘It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. He’s just been the dream so it’s been a special couple of days.

‘I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy. He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm.’

Asked who the baby takes after, Meghan said: ‘We’re still trying to figure that out.’

Harry said: ‘Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks we’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows.’

He has not been given an official title so he will simply be known as Master Archie. (Not Your Royal Highness, Earl or Prince!)

  • And look where we are now. What a shame that he and his sister will grow up not really knowing their extended family.

  • I don’t mind Harrison, but am not keen on Archie. But as if they care what I think

  • I like it to especially the middle nane.

  • I love that the middle name is Harrison [Harry’s son]. This is such a British tradition from the early years of King Arthurs court.

  • I think it’s great that they haven’t gave him a title. His name is just perfect. Looking forward to seeing little Archie grow up.

  • Archie is so cute, I wonder if they are fans of the comics or river dale.

  • I just love the name. Nothing fancy and very down to earth. Just like Harry and Meghan. Congratulations to them both and welcome Archie.

  • Love it, my youngest is Archie but his actual name is Archer (but only when he is in trouble!)

  • I guessed there would be one family name. Prediction. Mountbatten I never decided which name though. It appears they hyphenated the surname so they should say both when anybody asks for his surname,
