Adorable couple Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas have welcomed their first child together, each confirming the news on Instagram.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” they wrote. “We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family.”
Priyanka, 39, and Nick, 29 have been married for three years, tying the knot in India in 2018, in a three-day event. The love-struck couple became engaged after four-months together.
Earlier this month Priyanka told Vanity Fair that they wanted a family, but didn’t reveal that they were expecting.
“They’re a big part of our desire for the future,” she said. “By God’s grace when it happens, it happens.”
There had been recent speculation about the state of the couple’s marriage, after Priyanka dropped her surname ‘Jonas’ from her Instagram and Twitter handles. Priyanka told Indian media that she simply wanted to keep the same username across social media platforms and was ‘amused’ at how it was interpreted.
While the couple haven’t revealed their baby’s name, TMZ is reporting they welcomed a little girl on January 15.
