This item was available for purchase between 26 November 2018 to 13 June 2019. We encourage customers to cease using this product immediately and return to any Kmart store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.”

  • Shame as they would be a handy type of chair to have

  • Thanks for the information. A bit of a worry.

  • Thanks for sharing. A great service for letting us know about product recalls that might not be noticed otherwise.

  • Thanks for the heads up.

  • product recalls are always scary

  • The amount of chairs that I have KO on or have given way under me, LOL- better safe than sorry I guess

  • Never good to hear. Safety first always. Good to know about.

  • I’ll bet these chairs were made in China – they look lovely like many do, but at least K-Mart has recalled them which many other of these types of chairs don’t. Thank you K-Mart

  • Another recall, safety is key

  • Unfortunately that is common with a few brands of chairs you assemble yourself.
Other companies don’t seem to issue recalls.
