Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Mixed vegetables (I use corn, capsicum and peas)
  • 1/4 cup Breast milk
  • Pepper

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients well and grill with olive oil. Make sure egg is well cooked before serving to your bubba.

  • A good reminder that you can put almost anything in omelettes.

  • I think my two would like this with carrots instead of corn =)

    • I would choose the vegetables according to the age of the baby.
You would not give whole peas to a able unless they can chew them as they could choke them otherwise. I’m not sure up to what age they don’t digest carrot properly (you will see the evidence in the nappy). Some capsicums have quite a strong flavour so I would introduce it gradually unless you know youe baby definitely likes it. Capsicum needs to be chewed too. If you diced them very finely they might be safe at a younger age.
