This recipe is from leading dietitian and Mayver’s ambassador, Susie Burrell. The Banana Nut Bites are the perfect after school snack to tie over hungry children until dinner.

To celebrate Smart Eating Week taking place over 10 – 16 February, why not make these with your kids in the kitchen?

For a chocolately twist, add some cacao powder or substitute regular peanut butter for Mayver’s Organic Peanut & Cacao Spread.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1 cup Mayver's Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup oats
  • Shredded coconut

Method

  1. Blitz bananas, peanut butter and oats together in food processor
  2. Roll into balls, then roll in coconut to cover
  3. Put in fridge for two hours to set
