I use red and green fruit in my trifle to represent Christmas but you can use whatever fruit you prefer.

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1 sponge jam log cake
  • 20 grapes
  • 10 strawberries
  • 2 packs jelly - one red, one green
  • 1 container custard
  • 1 container whipped cream

Method

  1. Best if you start this the day before - make up red jelly in the serving bowl. Once red jelly is set, make the green jelly on top.
  2. Cut the sponge log up and place around the sides of bowl. Pour custard in the middle of the bowl and top with fruit.
  3. Add whipped cream for decoration.

  • Looks delicious.

  • I do love a good trifle. This isn’t the traditional type though. You layer the sliced sponge around the bowl. Mix up jelly and pour over. Leave to set. Add custard and then whipped cream on top.

In process of writting verses for friends etc for $10 each for them to give personl messages to their friends, relaives and others. All I need to know is a bit about the reciever and occassion vese needed to express in verse what they want to say whether happy or sad writting and thinking in verse is my expressionable way
