A quick breakfast to cook and eat.


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • butter for frying

Method

  1. Put some butter into a hot frypan and wait till it sizzles, cut out circles in the bread and put in the frypan.
  2. cook on one side for a minute, then turn over and place the egg in the middle, cook for a further 2-3 minutes and then flip. and cook for another 1 minute. (or to your liking)
  3. put on a plate and it's ready to eat. :-)

  • I do this with bagels, easy as it already has a hole :)

  • oh my I haven’t seen these since I was a kid – my family would have these on sunday’s – I need to make these for my girls one day – thank you for your recipe and reminding me of something from my childhood :)
