A quick fried rice for any stir fry


  • 1 cup Cooked cold rice
  • 2 tsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 1 rasher Bacon, diced
  • 1 tbsp Frozen peas
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce


  1. Heat oil in frypan or wok, add onion and bacon, fry 1-2 mins until onion softens.
  2. Make sure pan is hot and add in rice, continue stirring for the next 3 mins.
  3. Add in frozen peas, cook 2 mins.
  4. Make a hole in the centre of the rice. Crack egg into pan and swirl through rice until cooked. Add soy sauce, stir and serve.
