Hot Dog- The Fancy Way

6 Ingredients

A quick and easy snack for lunch or cook more and make it a meal, the kids will love it. Also perfect for parties.

Ingredients (serves 1)

1 hot dog
3 rashes of bacon without too much fat
1 handful of tasty cheese
3 small cubes of marinated feta with peppercorns and garlic
1/2 onion
1 Hot dog roll

Method

cook hot dog
slice onion and bacon and cook
Place hot dog in roll and onion and bacon mix, then add your tasty cheese and top with feta. Serve with tomato sauce or tomato relish.

Notes

For some reason hot dogs by themselves can be sickly but with all the extra's taste sensational.

Delicious but I would cut the bun on top rather than the side, therefore the ingredients would stay in better

On reading the title I thought……hmmm….how do you make a hot dog ‘fancy’? Then I read the ingredients. Yep….certainly a fancy spin on a traditional hot dog!

We always include bacon, cheese and onion but the marinated Feta is a new one that we must try!

We never have plain hotdogs.. We always pump them up into something exciting! Mexican ones, Italian, Irish.. Thank you for this recipe, we will have to try it now!
