i add jelly to help it set firmer as it is gelatin its yummy and well worth a try this is the first cheesecake i ever made


Ingredients

  • 2 pkts phily cream cheese
  • 2 cans condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup fresh lemon jucie
  • pkt sweet biscuts
  • 85 grams melted marg
  • pkt jelly cystels your flavor

Method

  1. smash bikkies into crumbs add marg mix line tin with baking paper and press into tin put in fridge i use a cake tin that unlocks
  2. mix cream cheese at room temp then add condensed milk and lemon jucie
  3. add enough boiling water to crystals to dissolve let cool a little then add to cheese mix i also chopped up a toklerone and mixed in can use any chocolate pour on to bikkie base put in fridge for a least 6 hours overnight is better

  • I love this recipe but why use lemon juice if you are adding a jelly. Just curious because I’ve never added lemon juice when using the jelly.

  • Oh wow I love making cheesecakes but always stick to a baked one as I can never work well with gelatine. But I love how the use of jelly crystals was used instead in this recipe and would be easy so I cant wait to give this a try. Thanks for sharing!
