Marshmallow Salad - Real Recipes from Mums

Marshmallow Salad

Serves 6
5 minutes
Difficulty Easy
5 Ingredients

Optional – can of passionfruit. This salad sounds awful, but when eaten with ham off the bone it is incredible

Ingredients (serves 6)

1 Can Mandarin pieces
1 Can Pineapple chunks
1 Cup Shredded Coconut
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Packet Pink and White Marshmallows

Method

Chop marshmallows into quarters
Drain mandarin and pineapple
Mix the whole lot in a nice glass bowl

Notes

Mum used to make this every Christmas. My husband was revolted when I described it, but ate nearly a whole bowlful on his own when I made it!

It looks more like a dessert to me. The kids would love this. I don’t think they would like sour cream. Maybe use ordinary whipped cream
