Mayver’s has selected their most popular, kid-friendly (and approved!) recipes for Smart Eating Week, taking place over 10 – 16 February. Try these peanut butter popsicles at home with the kids, it’s the perfect after school snack for keeping cool over summer!

This delicious recipe was provided by the talented Britt of @brittsheruns

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 2 Medium ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup Mayver's Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Plain or vanilla low-fat yoghurt (or coconut yoghurt for a vegan option)
  • 1 Tbs Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 Tbs Chia seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and mix until mixture has a smooth consistency.
  2. Pour mixture into popsicle moulds until full, then insert the popsicle sticks.
  3. Place moulds in the freezer for at least four hours.
  4. To serve, run moulds under some hot water for a few seconds to release the popsicles from the moulds.
