Great cheap, quick & easy dinner.
Ingredients
- 1kg Sausages, boiled, skin removed, chopped
- 1 Onion diced
- 1 stalk Celery diced
- 1 Carrot grated
- 1 pkt French onion soup mix
- 1 jar Bolognaise sauce
- 1 cup Water
- 5 Potatoes
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Shredded cheese
- 1 tsp Olive oil
Method
- Heat oil, fry onion celery and carrot until softened. Add sausages, soup mix, Bolognaise and water. Stir. Reduce to a simmer for 5 mins. Transfer to casserole dish.
- Boil potatoes, drain, mash in butter, stir through cheese. Spread on top of casserole.
- Bake 180* for 30 mins until golden on top.
Notes
Great served with bread.
