Here’s how the ABC Reading Eggs Product Review will work

In the ABC Reading Eggs Review, MoM Members with children or grandchildren aged from 3 to 7 years of age will trial and review. MoM Members who have not yet trialed or subscribed to ABC Reading Eggs are eligible to signup for a free 30-day trial to ABC Reading Eggs through a unique URL (in order to participate, you must be a new customer of ABC Reading Eggs and never had an account prior to this review). We’ll then ask selected mums to commit to using ABC Reading Eggs for 15 minutes a day for at least 5 days before posting their reviews.

  • Love ABC Reading Eggs - kids find it fun

    My pre-kindy 5 year old has been using ABC Reading Eggs for a while now and really enjoys it. The images and games are really creative and keep his attention. He feels good when he gets things right. There’s also a part called mathseeds which he really enjoys too. He is able to read and do maths before going to school which has him in a really good position. He is not forced, he was ready to learn and really enjoys it.

  • Love Reading Eggs

    We discovered Reading Eggs during the first lockdown. It has been a great way to get our 6 year old to do reading, phonics, and math. Our 4 year old also started when he wanted to do school work like his big brother. He loves it and has learned so much. The fact that they can earn rewards for doing levels and then use those rewards to access short games makes them both want to learn. It’s great and gives me time to have a few moments of quiet once in a while.

  • Brilliant Educational Program

    For me ABC Reading Eggs has been a blessing. Its a fantastic program that teaches your child to read. My son Hayden is in kindy this year and his teacher told us that Hayden was struggling with recognising and sounding out certain letters. My partner and I wanted to help him, and ABC Reading Egg’s has worked wonders.

    ABC Reading Eggs is a fun and easy way for children to learn to read. Its bright and interactive to keep little minds interested. Hayden loved ABC Reading Eggs from the first moment he tried it. Leaning but also playing at the same time, kept Hayden engaged and wanting to do more.

    When Hayden finishes a lesson level, I get an email on his progress and what he has learnt. This is a great way for me to know what sounds, letters or words he has been learning. There is also a more detailed progress report you can see in the app.

    The app is super easy to use and can be used not only on your tablet or phone but you can also use it on your PC. Hayden had no problems navigating and completing lessons. Hayden loved going from lesson to lesson on the map and seeing some of the fun, loveable characters he was about to meet.

    After using ABC Reading Eggs Hayden can now easily identify all the letters of the alphabet and sound most of them out. I’ve seen an improvement in his reading. He is more confident and loves reading more since starting ABC Reading Eggs.

    ABC Reading Eggs also allows you for trial it for 30 days, for free. I’m sure after the 30 days is up, you will be happy to pay for such a brilliant educational program. Thank you ABC Reading Eggs for helping my son. Because we are so happy with Reading Eggs, we have already paid for a yearly subscription. Overall my husband and I are thrilled with the results and so is Hayden. 🙂

  • Love all the books and activities!

    My 3 year old loves reading eggs and sees it as a real treat. Perfect when you’re out. We used it this morning while at a cafe and kept her happy while we were waiting. She read a book, played matching games and more. I love that it’s fun and educational for her and there is so much to explore. We’ve bought a year subscription already.

    45 days and going strong… Aayaan has now used the ABC reading eggs app for 45 days and I love that he enjoys it so much.
    His favourite part these days is the Library section, where he can choose which book he wants to read and then answer some quiz questions… How cool is that? My video gives a walkthrough of the library section today.

  • A fantastic tool for fun learning

    I was so happy after using the trial for Reading Eggs that I subscribed for the year. My 3 year old daughter sees playing it as a fun reward and has learnt from reading the stories on there, tracing the alphabet to learn her letters, matching shapes and colours and so much more. I’ve been so impressed with how easy it was to use. It’s been brilliant in the car when it’s a long drive, she’s entertained and I feel happy knowing she’s learning and doing something productive. Its teaching her computer skills as well which is important today. I love all the different games and sounds and also love the math seeds program too. There is so much there for her to learn that she will never get bored. I’ve already told all my friends to give a trial a go, it’s been brilliant for us already and have bought the year subscription. I can see it continuing to be a great learning tool for her for years to come.

  • Loving Reading Eggs

    I purchased Reading Eggs for my 2 year old after doing the 1 mth free trial. I wanted something that was positive screen time that would also be educational. Her colour recognition has improved and she loves the puzzles and picture matching games on there. She also has much better recognition of items and colours in her physical books and I have noticed she spends more time looking through her books than ever before and showing me what is in them

  • AMAZING!

    When we went into lock down for the first time last year, my Daughter, who was in Kindy/Prep at the time, was given a code to access Reading Eggs for Homeschooling and it was AMAZING! It’s such a resourceful program, it’s bright, happy and extremely attractive to young minds, it’s also super easy to use. The content is fun and engaging, so much so that my Daughter is quite happy to do her “School work”. Here we are again, in lock down number 2, Year/Grade 1, Home-schooled once again and YES! We have Reading Eggs, but this time our 3 year old is taking more of an interest, so we brought a Subscription to the Junior version for her and she can’t get enough. Reading Eggs makes reading fun and it teaches them the skills they need to make it exactly that, fun and something they’ll want to do.

  • Great Program!

    Our 4 year old son has had a lot of fun using Reading Eggs so far. His letter recognition has certainly improved and I can see with further use he will develop his reading skills even more. The only criticism I have of the program is that it is clearly designed for a tablet rather than a PC. My son used the program on a PC and as he didn’t have any experience with using a mouse before, there were some challenges in certain parts of the program as he had the right answer but couldn’t get the mouse to go where he wanted it to. On the other hand, he has now learnt how to use the computer mouse quite well, so it’s an additional skill he has learnt which is a bonus. Look forward to trying out the Mathseeds section with him next!

  • Learning screen time

    One of my sons used this for a couple of months and loved it.
    He was 6 at the time so already knew the basics but he needed speech and using this app helped with his speech activities. I will be using it again when my youngest gets older. It is a great way to do fun learning at home and help them grow.

  • It's great but not user friendly enough

    I found this app is great tool to learn alphabets in a fun way, but the navigation buttons is a bit inconsistent. Some have to go back to previous page to choose the next lesson, some just pressed next button. It’s a bit impossible for a 3 years old to go through lessons without assistance for more than 5 mins. She’ll ended get lost to other pages..

    Reading Eggs is a fantastic learning program for children. My 2 older have used reading eggs within they’re school and they thoroughly enjoyed its layout and learning activities. The reading and spelling activities were so much fun and engaging for them.
    A brilliant program for children’s minds. I would love to give my youngest child the opportunity to learn with reading eggs too. He will be turn 3 in few months so it would be perfect to start then.

  • Grandson loves it

    What a great invention. It’s so much fun it keeps the kids engaged and they’re learning at the same time. Make learning fun, colourful and bright and there’s no issues teaching kids anything. My grandson loves it, much better then watching videos of Ryan’s World that he used to do. Now he’s logging into ABC Reading Eggs, having more fun and being educated. Super easy to use, so many different activities he never gets bored with it. I’ve recommended to a few other mums and nan’s who have pre school age kids. I know a couple have signed up. Love it to bits

    In a follow up to the amazing app I’ve shared publicly to all my social media to get others on board with this amazing company. In trying times with most schools closed parents need all the resources out there! Stay safe while still learning at home. Kids also have alot of fun playing the multiple levels and different tasks that they need to complete.

    All my kids have their own reading eggs account now it’s the number one recommended app at their school and it works. My children have made many improvements with not only their reading but also sound pronunciation of letters and words. It’s incredibly engaging for the children and not repetitive. 10/10!

  • Perfect addition to learning

    Its so easy and not to overtired app for the kids. But kids needs supervision and some help while doing it ( especially young kids) as some tasks are to difficult or need some more explanation. I am happy to have it now that its helping me to occupy my kids during lockdown and learn something new as well. Reading eggs are a little bit to difficult for my 3yo but my 5yo is just smashing thru math part and he loves every task of it . highly recommend

    I love it, my son loves it, and his grandma who is a prep teacher loves it. It’s a great option for screen time, and he is definitely loving his learning. I’m able to see how he is doing as well which comes in very handy.

  • Having fun while learning

    Review X 2 this time with photo!
    We have been so impressed with reading eggs. My eldest kids have used it at school but we have not used it at home. It has been perfect to keep my 4 yo occupied while we are navigating through remote learning with my school kids. After initially learning how to use it together my daughter now can independently use the program. There are so many features and so many different activities for the kids. Such a great way to make learning fun. Its hard to avoid screen time with kids these days, but I am happy for my daughter to use the program as her iPad time. Will definitely recommend

  • screen time made fun

    We have been lucky to have had a trial of Reading Eggs the last few weeks. While Georgia hasn’t been able to attend daycare and kinder she has been able to continue to learn (and get ready for school eeek!) in a fun way. When the big kids are doing their remote learning she can work with them doing her big kid work too. We can sit down and do it together but its also so easy to use that she can do it herself and it didn’t take long for her to figure out how to use the different features. It makes learning fun with lots of different activities and games. It’s good knowing that her screen time is being used on something educational, especially as it doesn’t feel like learning as its too much fun!

    We have been playing and learning for a couple of weeks now and I can definitely tell the improvement. Miss 3yo is not able to identify the letters and sounds of them – I’m so proud and glad we started this free trial! It is definitely worth every penny and every second spent. It is obvious ABC cares about kids and their learning!

    As a teacher Mum, I was excited to get my 5yo started on Reading Eggs, and his interest blew me away! He loves it, and asks to do Reading Eggs every day! He was sad his trial was coming to an end as he looks so forward to it every day. I highly recommend Reading Eggs as a fun and engaging learning tool. I found it to be very effective for my son.

  • Fabulous fun for the whole family during Lockdown 2.0

    Grace (age 7) and Emma (age 10) have been having a fantastic time trialling Reading Eggs through a one mouth Mouths of Mums free trial. Reading Eggs has proven to be fun for the whole family with a variety of levels and tasks to suit kids of all ages. Even Danny (age 3) has been watching along. Whether or not your child is struggling with reading, Reading Eggs gives them an extra, fun way to engage with literacy, especially during the current times of home schooling and lockdown.
    A lot of home learning (even for my 10 and 13 year old) seems to involve quite a bit of assistance and intervention from myself, but this is not the case with Reading Eggs. The tasks are largely self explanatory – and if the kids can not read the instructions, there is an option to have them read out via a computerised voice. They can do a variety of fun literacy tasks, develop their own avatars, build their own reward houses, play games, write their own stories and so much more. Reading Eggs is learning made fun.

  • Really loved this app for a different options

    This is such a an amazing way to turn screen time into learning time as well! My son had so much fun using this app and also found d it really to navigate himself! He usually gets bored quite easily with games online but this one he would sit for so long and play and learn for ages!! Definitely love it for a screen time option instead of TV!!

    It has been such a fun way to learn. My daughter has been using it as she would with her game apps she opens it up and starts learning. There is so much to explore and do that it’s endless, it was abit overwhelming at first to figure out our way around it but now that we have we love it.

    Reading eggs has been great for my 3.5 year old daughter. She’s already on level 4 and loving the activities.

    It’s been a great thing for her to learn basic word concepts before she starts Kindy next year. We hope to continue using it after the trial period. It’s money well spent!
