  • Best nappies

    Since birth my now almost 3 year old has always been in huggies nappies. They are the only nappies that don’t give him nappy rash, don’t leak and are comfortable around his little legs. I particularly like that they are gender specific so he has extra absorption in the right area for him. I can rest assured that he can sleep all night and the nappy won’t leak, the 12 hour claim is spot on

  • Love them!

    The nappy design is super cute! They’re so soft. It held all of bubs wee with no leakages whatsoever! No explosions at all. I usually buy cheaper nappies but I have already brought another 2 boxes of these because they’re so good! Definitely a happy mum here! Sizing is great too for my bub

  • No leaks!

    We normally use cloth nappies but using Huggies Ultra Dry during wet weather has been a lifesaver! They are the only disposable nappies we have found that leave my son comfortable and dry. It’s good to know at night when I put on his nappy, that he will not wake up due to being wet and will still be comfortable by the morning.

  • Great absorbency and a nice snug fit!

    We have recently been using the Huggies Ultra Dry Nappies and have been so impressed. There have been no leakages and are perfect for overnight sleeps! They are such a great fit and don’t leave and red marks around the legs. I’m so happy with these nappies and will definitely be continuing to use them and recommend to anyone who has little babes.

  • Huggies Ultra dry nappies

    Ive had 4 kids and i have tried EVERY other nappy available and none come close to the quality, fit and they are always comfortable never leaving red marks.

    And Huggies nappies will actually clear up babies nappy rash or skin irritation because they draw any wetness off babies skin leaving them dry.

    Extremely happy with these nappies. Never experienced leakage overnight. My daughter loved the Minnie Mouse design, though I’d love for the designs to be a little brighter! Love the blue change indicator. Definitely will be recommending these to friends and will be purchasing at the shops!

    These nappies are seriously the cutest! The patterns are adorable. They did not leave behind the fluffy lint stuff that other nappies do and did not irritate my sensitive babe’s skin. My Bub’s bottom was kept dry all night and most importantly, there were no leaks! We will be repurchasing for sure!

  • Keeping my son protected since day 1

    I absolutely love Huggies ultra dry. It has been with us since my son was a newborn and I was never been disappointed ever! These nappies really gives my son 100% ultra dry protection all day and even all night.     Hands down the best nappies. They’ve never leaked and don’t smell. The fit is perfect and doesn’t leave marks. I love the convenience of then too. If I have another child I will continue using the same brand. It’s been trusted in our home for the past two years and will continue to be.

    Huggies were my go-to nappies for overnight or for occasions where I needed to be really sure there wouldn’t be leakage. I used them with both my daughter and sons, and they were great. Really effective, I never had a problem with them. And as the kids got older, they liked the designs.

  • Can I give more than 5 stars!!!

    These Huggies Ultra Dry nappies are my favourite baby product hand down in all areas. I have never felt so confident, supportive and excited about a product as much as these. They keep my baby dry for so long, have never leaked and never make dints in her skin where some other nappy brands pull on the skin. I can leave her all night knowing her nappy will hold throughout the night. I have always been a Huggies supporter and these Ultra Dry nappies is just another product that proves its worth in gold!

  • Best nappies

    I use these nappies on my daughter for overnight protection. They are highly absorbent and never leak. Soft on my daughters skin and never leaves any nappy rash. The design on the nappies are extremely cute and my daughter absolutely loves it and gets excited to have it put on. My only disappointment with these nappies is that when you take off the tabs it rips into the nappy making it unusable if you wanted to reuse it. I will continue to use these nappies, so happy with them otherwise.

  • Love Ultra Dry

    We love Huggies Ultra Dry. We have tried plenty of different brands of nappies to ensure we had the best for bub. Ultra Dry nappies were the easy winner. Good quality tabs, comfortable and love that they have the wetness indicator! We don’t use them overnight as find they aren’t the best for a very heavy wetter. Overnight we use Huggies ultimate which are another level of nappies, so soft. But for day time it’s Huggies Ultra Dry all the way

    The nappy was very dry and looking at it from a comfort standpoint - this product will be the best thing since sliced bread. My toddler was not as irritated a with other products. I loved the opportunity to review and I will be buying in the future.

    Loved these Huggies Ultra Dry Nappies. They are a great fit and the inside feels very soft. Thankfully they do their job well and no leaking or the dreaded poo explosions!! The nappies have good absorbency even working well overnight too. My son had no rashes or irritation from the nappy. The Mickey design is cute. Highly recommended.

  • Cute design, quality nappy

    The design of the nappy is really cute. The lining of the material feels soft. It also holds pee with no leakage. However, their sizing smaller comparing to other brands. My bub wear a size3 in other brand and still fitting well but seems to be outgrowing huggies size 3 when she wore them.

    I’m sorry we have used huggies for years but now the quality lacks since being made in China. My was burnt from the chemical rash. The nappies smell so bad it gave me headaches so I sent them back to Huggies.

  • Why is Mickey upside down?

    We have been having a lot of issues with my little man having leaks during the night since changing to the new ultra dry that has made a huge difference. They fit my little guy so much better and he stays drier for longer which means a better night's sleep for everyone. Highly recommend.

  • We absolutely loved them!

    Probably these are the best nappies from Huggies. My daughter has sensitive skin and we have no troubles with wearing them even for a longer periods. They are very absorbent and built well to prevent leaks. We also loved the design and wetness indicator is another great addition to them. Overall we're very happy with these nappies and would definitely be recommending them.

Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.

Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.

Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.

“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”

Even then, it’s not ideal.

“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”

A New Loaf On The Block

Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.

It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.

“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”

Made with baker’s flour, water, yeast, vinegar, oil and salt, JUST bread contains no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours.

For Bec, it sounded almost too good to be true. “When we saw JUST bread, I was like, ‘You’re joking.’ A bread that’s fresh baked but in the bread aisle? That’s unheard of for us.”

“It was really exciting for our family and for the allergy community.”

The Family’s Toughest Critic Approved

Of course, there was one person whose opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.

“My toughest critic is my daughter. She is so fussy. We know something is really good if she approves it, and she approves it. She loves it. She’ll eat it plain, toasted, as French toast … whatever. She loves it.”

Bec says she was impressed too.

“I like it. I like that it’s only got minimal ingredients and doesn’t have the additives and preservatives that are in a lot of other brands.”

A Simpler Option For Everyday Families

Bec tried out JUST bread because of her family’s allergies, but she says it has a broader appeal.

“I think everyone is becoming more conscious of additives and preservatives in their food.”

It’s a feeling many of us can probably relate to. We don’t all want to overhaul the way we eat, but plenty of us are paying a little more attention to ingredient lists and looking for products that keep things simple.

Bread is one of those foods that’s always around. It ends up in lunchboxes, on the breakfast table, alongside soup on a cold night and covered in hundreds and thousands at birthday parties. When we eat something that often, it’s only natural to wonder what’s in it.

I have noticed that there are starting to be more ‘cleaner’ products in the supermarket, meaning consumers are being heard. We are going full circle back to how foods use to be produced before companies got greedy and started taking shortcuts to producing food items. I hope we continue seeing more preservative and additive free options that are affordable come back in the supermarkets.

  • Grabbing your car keys and running for a bread ?? I can’t imagine doing so for a bread lol ! It’s nice to see that more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and put on the market.
    I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.

  • I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.

  • This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo

  • I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.

  • I am glad more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and offered. I don’t agree with Bec’s statement that kids don’t like sourdough bread. My kids were introduced to sourdough and the most rustic and seeded breads from the time they started to eat bread, and they love it

  • Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!

  • This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go
