  • Best thing since fly spray!

    I keep mine near the front door, even though it has a screen on it, when opened and closed (or forgotten to close it) this nifty gadget just set and forget. It zaps the flies before they have a chance to come in. I can even leave the screen door open and it works a treat!

  • I admit to being surprised by this.

    I’ll be honest. I really wanted to be blown away by this, but I didn’t really expect to. I figured I’d buy it, and be annoyed that I wasted $30. But truly, my house backs onto a mangrove swamp, (yuck!), and the mosquitoes in summer are the WORST! They attack in swarms, and will literally drive you out of a room when they gang up on you. The poor baby cops it the worst. So I decided to give it a go, and I am so glad I did! For the last month, we have had minimal mosquitoes in the house! MAYBE four or five a day, which is REALLY saying something, when you consider that it wouldn’t have been unusual to have twenty or more in the space of an hour!

    I genuinely cannot recommend this product enough! It even smells nice!

  • Flys where are you?

    Unfortunately my house has limited fly screens, and in the QLD humidity I always try to have enough breeze to keep us cool. With that comes unwanted insects, flies being my major issue. After trying this product I’ve seen a massive decrease in the amount of flies coming inside. I’d spent a crazy amount of money on fly spray, and this works out to be much more effective.

  • brilliant product

    we bought one of these because we have a midgie issue (we live near mangroves)
    its kept above the back door so that if the kids leave it open we dont have to worry as much that the midgies will come in… its set at 9 minute intervals and works a treat… i havent had a midgie bite for weeks!

  • Great for families

    Just loved the Mortein Naturgard Auto Protect Indoor Eucalyptus Insect Control!! With my kids constantly leaving windows and doors open i have bugs in my house constantly. I would love to say i dont have this problem anymore which is so so good that im not chasing the flies around with my fly spray and making my house smell terrible

  • Insect free

    After reading and hearing rave reviews about Mortein Naturgaurd we decided to purchase it last week and hubby and I are very impressed .
    Having young children running in and out of back yard and leaving security door open, we always used to have insects flying into the house. Since using this Naturgaurd, we no longer face this problem and I no longer need to scream to close fly/security door close.
    We have had the odd fly come in but before long it either fits out or dies.
    I highly recommend this and am very impressed that it really does what it says.

  • Fly free

    Even with the kids running in and out, leaving the doors open I have noticed a dramatic decrease in flies in my house. The flu season hit early with high temperatures and I was leaving each day spraying the house and coming home and doing the same. Since setting up this indoor protection all I can say is thank you!

  • More User Friendly than other models.

    We have used previous editions of Mortein and other automatic pest control devices and this unit has by far been more user friendly. The options you can select depending on which insects you are wanting to target make it easy and more sense than 12 – 24 hour options. We have placed it in our main lounge as we often get rouge cockroaches that venture from our garage and we haven’t seen one since. Thanks for a great product that actually works.

    I decided to take it to work to see if it worked on the blow flies we have had it there a week and have not had a blow fly come near me.

  • Nothing to sneeze at!

    We were having issues with flies in the house, and my 6 year old is a bit wary of the little beasts. We were absolutely sick of walking around with the aerosol spray cans, while my 8 year old would be holding a hanky over her mouth and saying we were poisoning her. So, I sent hubby out with the orders not to come back until he’d found a solution to our problem! And a solution he quickly found!!
    He came home with the Mortein Naturgard system. It was easy to set up and once working, the flies began dropping. The smell was pleasant and didn’t send my daughter into a Oscar-winning death scene, and the sound was slight and not annoying at all.
    We were super happy with the instant decline in the indoor insect population and with how long one refill lasted.

  • Works, but I worry about health consequences

    I loved this product when we tried it. we had issues with those little black house spiders and in the week we had this going – it was great, they were dying everywhere. My only issue with it was that we all got sore throats that week, which the chemist assistant said is something they see a lot of because people are breathing in this spray regularly. That being said, while I thought we had careful placement so that it wasnt spraying over people, I still think the product is great, and love their outdoor one also.

  • Indoor Pest Control

    This indoor Eucalypyus Insect Control is great it does keep the insects away and there is no terrible odour at all. It is a little costly though so not something I can afford on a regular basis.

    We have a Mortein Auto Protector in the kitchen and it works wonders and smells nice. No more flies and no more screaming at the kids to shut the doors in case one gets in! We have something similar for outdoors as well and its great for camping 🙂

  • Works great....flies gone

    Got a new puppy and had to leave the laundry door open for her toileting purposes so flies had easy access to the house. Looked around for a solution and found Mortein Naturgard Indoor Insect Control which sounded simple to use. I have been more than pleased with this product as it actually lives up to its claims. Simple to use and effective. Fully recommend this!

  • A product worth trying

    We have a Mortein Auto Protector in our kitchen and it is wonderful. Not only does it kill all the flies and other insects in that area but it seems to spread throughout the whole house. We don’t even notice it is there but we sure notice it when it needs a refill which is not that often. I would recommend it to everyone

  • Family Friendly

    With a partner who forgets to shut doors even though we have a small baby, this product is great in making sure that any bugs that get into the house don’t last long enough to bite my little one. I also like that it is natural so we are not inhaling any chemicals.

  • It's very affective

    Bought this for the kitchen but it has been so much more effective than we thought. We have a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen and this tiny unit takes Care of the flying pests throughout. It takes down anything from large dragonflies to tiny fruit flies. The odourless is just that, completely odourless so the only way to tell it has run out is when you start noticing flies

  • Summer protection

    It’s nearly the end of another summer and we have enjoyed many an evening outdoors or with indoors with our doors open to let in the lovely evening breezes. I am usually a mosquito magnet so whilst I love enjoying the fresh air, the mozzies often ruin a peaceful evening for me. We used Mortein Naturgard a number of times this summer. I loved the fact that it was natural and easy to use. I did find it rather effective, although for me the mozzies still had a feast. Nonetheless I think it gave great protection for the rest of the family.

  • Something that works

    I have been looking for something to stop flies, mosquitoes, little flying bugs at night from taking over the house. We have 2 dogs so leave the back door open for them to do as they please. Since getting the mortein auto protect no more bugs inside & the one that do come in are dead in the morning. Love it & use all year round

    This is fantastic smells good not like others. My kids leave the doors open all the time and at night time we always get bugs coming in the house. Since using this we haven’t got any and as it has been warm it’s great.

    this is one great product since i started using it i haven’t seen any flies or bugs around its great in areas that have food like the kitchen and it moves to the living area, the smell is pleasant makes my home smell fresh.

    One minute there is a fly next minute was gone didn’t even get to the next wall i have a place in the mountains with a flowing river we get plenty insects i would recommend mortein works nice smell

    Thanks everyone for your reviews. Im off to the shop tomorrow to purchase one to give it a go. My children love leaving the door open. I swear each time they leave it open the flies invite another bigger friend as they are getting bigger each time
    Im wondering of it will work on the ants in out house. No matter what we try we always seem to have ants. Lets see if this will rid me of my ant issue

  • a lovely way of protecting from pests

    Unlike other insect protection stuff, Mortein Natugard has a smell like no other. It has a good smell that doesn’t irritate the nose and causes allergic rhinitis. Plus, this product of theirs are efficient in repelling unwanted pests at home leaving myself and my family safer. It works fast and quick and I am rest assured that we are protected well. It is easy to use and I would recommend it to other households especially ones with nose sensitivities!

    My family loves this product, even when kids leave the door open it keeps the flies at bay. We have tried other products and they did not last as long as the mortien. My husband prefers the Eucalyptus scent.
