  • Best thing since fly spray!

    I keep mine near the front door, even though it has a screen on it, when opened and closed (or forgotten to close it) this nifty gadget just set and forget. It zaps the flies before they have a chance to come in. I can even leave the screen door open and it works a treat!

  • I admit to being surprised by this.

    I’ll be honest. I really wanted to be blown away by this, but I didn’t really expect to. I figured I’d buy it, and be annoyed that I wasted $30. But truly, my house backs onto a mangrove swamp, (yuck!), and the mosquitoes in summer are the WORST! They attack in swarms, and will literally drive you out of a room when they gang up on you. The poor baby cops it the worst. So I decided to give it a go, and I am so glad I did! For the last month, we have had minimal mosquitoes in the house! MAYBE four or five a day, which is REALLY saying something, when you consider that it wouldn’t have been unusual to have twenty or more in the space of an hour!

    I genuinely cannot recommend this product enough! It even smells nice!

  • Flys where are you?

    Unfortunately my house has limited fly screens, and in the QLD humidity I always try to have enough breeze to keep us cool. With that comes unwanted insects, flies being my major issue. After trying this product I’ve seen a massive decrease in the amount of flies coming inside. I’d spent a crazy amount of money on fly spray, and this works out to be much more effective.

  • brilliant product

    we bought one of these because we have a midgie issue (we live near mangroves)
    its kept above the back door so that if the kids leave it open we dont have to worry as much that the midgies will come in… its set at 9 minute intervals and works a treat… i havent had a midgie bite for weeks!

    Hi I have had so many friends say this is a awesome product and we would really love to give this a go one day but on behalf of everyone we know I am giving this a 5 star rating with a guarantee that this is worth trying out i’ll be heading to the shop this week to give it a go wish me luck.

  • Great for families

    Just loved the Mortein Naturgard Auto Protect Indoor Eucalyptus Insect Control!! With my kids constantly leaving windows and doors open i have bugs in my house constantly. I would love to say i dont have this problem anymore which is so so good that im not chasing the flies around with my fly spray and making my house smell terrible

  • Insect free

    After reading and hearing rave reviews about Mortein Naturgaurd we decided to purchase it last week and hubby and I are very impressed .
    Having young children running in and out of back yard and leaving security door open, we always used to have insects flying into the house. Since using this Naturgaurd, we no longer face this problem and I no longer need to scream to close fly/security door close.
    We have had the odd fly come in but before long it either fits out or dies.
    I highly recommend this and am very impressed that it really does what it says.

  • Fly free

    Even with the kids running in and out, leaving the doors open I have noticed a dramatic decrease in flies in my house. The flu season hit early with high temperatures and I was leaving each day spraying the house and coming home and doing the same. Since setting up this indoor protection all I can say is thank you!

  • More User Friendly than other models.

    We have used previous editions of Mortein and other automatic pest control devices and this unit has by far been more user friendly. The options you can select depending on which insects you are wanting to target make it easy and more sense than 12 – 24 hour options. We have placed it in our main lounge as we often get rouge cockroaches that venture from our garage and we haven’t seen one since. Thanks for a great product that actually works.

    I decided to take it to work to see if it worked on the blow flies we have had it there a week and have not had a blow fly come near me.

  • No more flies

    With a toddler who loves the freedom to wander in and out of the house the flies had taken over!! This device was a quick and simple solution and better than expected.

    I would prefer the control panel on the front or bottom to change the setting and to turn the device off when not being used but clearly this way I\’m likely to overuse the product and buy more sooner.

  • Efficient but not intrusive

    I love Mortein Naturgard, we use it all the time. I have the indoor one a a couple of the outdoor one as well living in QLD with a lot of mosquitos it gives us so much more freedom when the kids want to play outside and are constantly leaving screen doors open and also being able to eat outside.

  • Love this product

    I have been using the indoor moretin naturgard auto for a while now and find it fabulous. It sits on the top of my curtains and with the new lavender scent is terrific at keeping the bugs at bay. We have a mozzie problem with a creek close by, so this product has been heaven scent. Cheap to run over a period of a month and super easy to use.

    we have used Mortein naturgard auto protect indoor eucalyptus insect control since last christmas and it was great to have all the family around and no one doing the fly swat dance to be able to sit even out side in our sun area with the family while we had put it on the wall and it was doing its job with out a sound and no flyies

    Did not get to trial Mortein Naturgard but after reading other peoples reviews decided to buy it. Very happy with its performance as I have to sometimes leave my laundry door open and all the buggers came in BUT not any more as hubby set it up in the laundry and my problem was solved. Thanks Mortein for this product.

  • Its has some side effect.

    Product is very to use as it claim, it works reaaly fast . In term of safe i am not quite sure, we felt dehydrate after few day of using the unit, the children couldnt breath so i have to turn of. Not too sure whether it is safe than other product.

  • Strong smell but effective

    Friends of ours have 2 of these, one on a verandah, and one inside. I either always seem to walk past the one inside at the wrong time or it is movement sensor activated. From the point of getting rid of flies that like to shelter under the verandah and fly inside as soon as we start to open the door, that one doesn’t seem to be very effective. However we do get a lot of strong winds. Will it get rid of spiders that give nasty bites. Not much success with them

  • Is it at work?

    have only had it a few days after reading the reviews. I am not sure if it is working yet, as I’ve not seen any evidence, if it works I’ll be a very happy lady.

  • Mortein Naturegard has replaced all my insect control products.

    Mortein Naturegard i found safe and easy use to eliminate all bugs from my house, it took ages for my Safeway to stock so sorry for the late response but had to test it out for a couple of weeks and i love it, the only bug control allowed in and outdoor use for my house, thankyou for allowing me to review Mortien Naturgard.

  • Must have product

    This product is so simple and easy to use. You just set it up and forget about it (until you need to replace the canister). I am surprised with how successful the product has been. I don’t even want to think about the amount of bugs that were “getting away” before using this product. I believed my previous pest control sprays and methods were working … this product proved me wrong.

  • Fly free!

    After over a month of using this product, I’ve added a refill and will continue to use this. The flies are still everywhere outside but even when the door is left open I don’t find any pesky pests at bedtime!

  • A winner!

    We absolutely loved trialling this product. We back onto a park that has a river and we have struggled with mosquitos for many years. It has reduced our mosquitos that sneak inside to none. So nice for us all to have a restful sleep without the threat of mosquitos. Will be definitely keeping up with using it.

  • Goodbye pesky flies

    I’ve been using the Mortein Naturgard Auto Protect for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. We feed our dogs outside the backdoor and get quite a few flies hanging around. Since using the product I’ve had little to no flies around the door area. I’ve placed it in the laundry so it’s almost central to both doors. It has a nice scent, not to overpowering.

    I happily tried Mortein Naturgard for the icky creepy crawlies in the house and I can happily say that we are very happy with the end result. This product works well and I have also recommended it to friends and family. It is a good product to be using with the warmer weather and the increase in creepy crawlies!

  • no more unwanted bugs

    I set my mortein naturgard up next to my back door as that is usually the most trafficked area/door in our home. We usually have a fly screen covered in flies but once the mortien was set and started to spray the flies disappeared. I love not having a face full of bugs fly at me when i walk out the back now. i also love that you can get the refills in odourless
