  • healthy and convenient

We have a very busy week and sometimes I'm unable to bring home made food with us or there isnt the facilities to heat up the food, so I always carry a Rafferty's garden pouch in my bag. Its great to know my daughter can eat when shes hungry and that she's got a full, healthy tummy.

I whipped up a pancake batter added Rafferty's Garden Veggie range ...pumpkin, apple and sweet corn is wonderful also spinach, apple, broccoli and pea is also delightful and hey presto savoury pancakes or pikelets in a flash and they are great on the cash, easy, reasonably priced to whip up and any left over or extra made are super for the lunch boxes the next day. • Highly recommend

I have used Rafferty's garden for all 4 of my children. I love that's it's full of natural ingredients and started all my kids on this smooth range from five months. I love the variety and always recommend them. I find that he smooth range is fantastic as I start introducing solids and the purée range is great for six month plus. The sachets are great size and very convenient for busy mums like me.

  • Love how easy it is to let them feed themselves

Soon after we started my daughter on solids we started looking at introducing pouches to her because the on-the-go convenience was too good to pass up. I was drawn back to Rafferty's Garden over and over again because I knew it wouldn't contain lots of unnecessary ingredients and was going to be one of the best things I could give her.

My daughter loved that even from a young age she could hold them herself and took great pride in grabbing them from my hands to feed herself, although this wasn't always as clean as it could be it was great to be able to start building her independence.

I like that there is a broad range of flavours even from a young age and continue to buy them for her now even though she eats 3 solid meals a day. Raffery's Garden is something I will keep buying especially when my second child arrives as I'll be able to chuck a few of these in my bag and be able to provide pleasing snacks to both of them.

  • Loves it!

Raffertys garden offers a variety of baby food which my little man enjoys. It is the next best thing to me cooking his meals for him. He doesn't refuse to eat it he keeps coming back for me which is great as with some food he will not open his mouth. I am happy to continue with these products as I know it is something that won't get wasted. It is convenient for when we are heading out and always good to have in the cupboard. It is a healthy choice for my little man and he really loves it!

  • Raffertys garden has a great range and variety. I don't feel guilty feeding him these. I love the convenience of these products especially when we are out and about. I always ensure there are some in the cupboard. They are also great to add to cooking/baking when puree is needed. My baby will eat them all day if he could.

  • Smooth Range

Still love this product. I love how easy and convenient it is. It is very important to me that there is nothing else added to this product. I still am recommending this product to other mums.

I still continue to buy this product as it is good to have in the cupboard for emergencies and is also good to mix in with my LO porridge in the morning or his yoghurt for dessert.

  • Great introduction to food

I love these products as this is the first food I gave Bub as it was the one product without additives and it is only what it says on the packet. Now as my Bub eats almost anything I get the satchels for travel and when I want to try new flavours.

  • My sons first food

My son loves the raffertey's garden range. I tried him on the pouches before I started cooking his food to see how he goes and now I cook his vegetables for breakfast and lunch but he has the fruit in the pouches for breakfast and snacks. He was just shy of four months when we started and now at just over 5 months we have tried some other products but always come back to the raffertey's range

I love rafferty's range! I have used it with both of my boys and they loved the flavours. I have never had an issue with them eating it. It is of a good price compared to some other brands on the market. I would definitely and have recommended this product In the past. Love it!

  • Handy pantry staple .

Week-end breakfasts are a little more creative here. This morning I whipped up a pancake/donut batter using Rafferty's Garden smooth apple, pear and cinnamon. I poured the mix into my mini donut machine and after a few minutes simply rolled them in cinnamon sugar. Oh my warm, sweet heavenly delights ..oh so good. The homemade batter was so much healthier than store bought and the addition of the Rafferty's added to a super nutritious mix and gave them a delicious taste and texture. Rafferty's is so versatile and it is one of my pantry staples.

  • Great to have in the baby bag

I was one of those mums who thought I'd only ever feed my bubs homemade veggies and never use packaged food. Then I actually encountered the reality of having kids! It's good to know with this range that all you're giving your baby is the fruit and veggies and no nasties. It's such a lifesaver when travelling to be able to grab a pack when Bub is hungry.

My youngest is too old now so lucky I mind my baby niece, so I still get to have a little taste of the Apple cinamon one sometimes - yum!

  • On the go convenience

Doing regular drives of at least an hour it was so convenient to be able to feed him something fruitfilled and easy for him to consume. Highly recommend them. I never really used the ones with veg but kept a steady supply of the fruit ones in my cupboard, ready to grab on the go.

  • Perfect for Princess

Our daughter has just turned 4 months and is going through her bottles every 2 hours. We decided to add a meal each lunch time to help her feel more full.

    Enter Rafferty's!

She absolutely demolished it! She did really well with the smooth texture and was happy to eat her food and shove her hands in, I think to make sure she didn't spill any!

I recommend using Rafferty's Garden as it is important to me that my daughter enjoys her foods and there are no hidden nasties in her food

My daughter absolutely loved Rafferty's Garden products. The pear and superberries was her 'anytime of the day' snack and she just love, love, loved sweet potato, carrot and apple. The range available was great, the packaging allowed her to become more independent with feeding herself. Plus it is very convenient to carry with you wherever you go.

  • Way to eat fruit

These are excellent, just the ticket. We buy in bulk from Chemist Warehouse to ensure we are always stocked up, Little Miss 2 refuses most fresh fruit, so this has been the best way to encourage fruit eating, The 'nothing else' is also very important and the convenience is great. I always add a few to the nappy bag before we venture out.

  • Raffertys Smooth range

My son loves Raffertys smooth, especially the banana, pear and mango flavour. Although he is almost 10 months old he still prefers smoother purees than lumpier foods so its is great that Raffertys has such a large range of flavours to keep him happy. I love that they are made in Australia.

I love that they are 100% what they say they are with no additives and junk that my daughter doesn't need. Topics

Mum-of-two Rebecca McCracken has spent the last four years reading ingredient lists on pretty much everything she buys at the supermarket.

Like many parents raising kids with food allergies, a quick trip to the supermarket often means checking labels, comparing products and hoping to find something the whole family can eat.

Bec’s four-year-old son and 17-month-old daughter were both born with cow’s milk protein allergy. While her son has since outgrown his allergies, her toddler still reacts to dairy, making even everyday staples like bread a challenge.

“Unless we buy expensive sourdough for seven or eight dollars, we don’t really have a choice.”

Even then, it’s not ideal.

“A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich,” Bec laughs. “And fairy bread on sourdough is not great.”

A New Loaf On The Block

Bec runs an online community for allergy families, so she spends plenty of time sharing recipes, product finds and supermarket discoveries with other parents.

It was one of those parents who first told her about new JUST bread.

“A follower messaged me and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this bread is coming soon.’ I was like, ‘Where? When? I need to know. I’m getting my car keys and running!'”

Made with baker’s flour, water, yeast, vinegar, oil and salt, JUST bread contains no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours.

For Bec, it sounded almost too good to be true. “When we saw JUST bread, I was like, ‘You’re joking.’ A bread that’s fresh baked but in the bread aisle? That’s unheard of for us.”

“It was really exciting for our family and for the allergy community.”

The Family’s Toughest Critic Approved

Of course, there was one person whose opinion mattered more than anyone else’s.

“My toughest critic is my daughter. She is so fussy. We know something is really good if she approves it, and she approves it. She loves it. She’ll eat it plain, toasted, as French toast … whatever. She loves it.”

Bec says she was impressed too.

“I like it. I like that it’s only got minimal ingredients and doesn’t have the additives and preservatives that are in a lot of other brands.”

A Simpler Option For Everyday Families

Bec tried out JUST bread because of her family’s allergies, but she says it has a broader appeal.

“I think everyone is becoming more conscious of additives and preservatives in their food.”

It’s a feeling many of us can probably relate to. We don’t all want to overhaul the way we eat, but plenty of us are paying a little more attention to ingredient lists and looking for products that keep things simple.

Bread is one of those foods that’s always around. It ends up in lunchboxes, on the breakfast table, alongside soup on a cold night and covered in hundreds and thousands at birthday parties. When we eat something that often, it’s only natural to wonder what’s in it.

JUST bread keeps things simple with a handful of pantry ingredients and no artificial preservatives, flavours or colours. It’s the sort of loaf that fits easily into busy family life without asking us to compromise on taste or convenience.

Little Changes, Big Difference

For Bec, finding a loaf of bread her whole family can enjoy is about more than ticking another item off the shopping list.

“It seems like such a little thing to the normal community, but for us this is a massive win.”

Being able to make sandwiches without worrying about ingredients. Packing lunchboxes a little more easily. Bringing back fairy bread for birthdays. Sometimes it’s the little things that make family life feel a whole lot simpler.

And while Bec found JUST bread because she needed another allergy-friendly option, its simple ingredient list is likely to appeal to plenty of other families too. After all, when we can choose everyday foods made with ingredients we recognise, that’s a pretty good place to start.

JUST Bread is made on a line that also processes soy and sesame.

Mouths of Mums is proudly working with JUST. to bring you this article. JUST bread is made with just a handful of pantry ingredients.  JUST. The Good Stuff.

  • I am so glad to hear about this and will definitely be on a look out for this in the supermarket. I have noticed that there are starting to be more ‘cleaner’ products in the supermarket, meaning consumers are being heard. We are going full circle back to how foods use to be produced before companies got greedy and started taking shortcuts to producing food items. I hope we continue seeing more preservative and additive free options that are affordable come back in the supermarkets.

  • Grabbing your car keys and running for a bread ?? I can’t imagine doing so for a bread lol ! It’s nice to see that more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and put on the market.
I don’t agree with the statement that “A kid doesn’t want to eat a sourdough sandwich”. It depends on what type of bread you introduce to your kids. My kids grew up with 7 seeds, rustic bread and sourdough and they love it. It’s also quite easy and cheap to make sourdough bread yourself.

  • I haven’t seen this bread in the supermarket but will be looking for it now. I have been trying to avoid preservatives and additives for some time now and as highlighted in the article bread it difficult to find, or super expensive, without them so I don’t have it often.

  • This is fantastic, finally a bread that is not full of nasty stuff. I will be going straight out to buy this. My son has ARFID and will only eat white bread, but it’s not terribly healthy. With this bread, at least I know that it is much healthier than the alternatives. Woohoo

  • I cant wait to give this bread a go (so far its always been sold out at my local woolies so it must be good). So good its suitable for those with allergies too. I think nowadays were all looking for cleaner options of ingredients in our foods so this is a step in the right direction.

  • I am glad more and more allergy friendly products are being produced and offered. I don’t agree with Bec’s statement that kids don’t like sourdough bread. My kids were introduced to sourdough and the most rustic and seeded breads from the time they started to eat bread, and they love it

  • Oh I cannot wait to try this bread! We go through that much bread each week and I always feel so guilty with how much my kids have – not anymore! Would love to see them introduce other variants in the future – multigrain and gluten free would be superb!

  • This is such a great product that I’m looking forward to trying! I’ve only been buying bread from bakeries the last few years because grocery store bread texture was so dense and unpleasant. But the hassle with bakery bread is I can’t get it everywhere! I’ll be really keen to give this a go
