SPC understands that getting kids to eat their daily dose of vegetables can be a dinner table battleground for mums.

Helping to make life easier for mums and mealtime delicious for fussy kids, SPC has launched its new Sneaky Veg range of baked beans and spaghetti.

Every 220g can has at least one serve of veg that can’t be seen so kids can enjoy a tasty meal they love as well as getting the nutrition that they need. In fact, SPC baked beans includes 2.7 serves of vegetables in every can and the SPC Spag-A-stralia includes 1.3 serves in every can*.

The SPC Sneaky Veg range is a source of protein and fibre and has the added benefits of being low in sugar, low in salt and 99% fat free. There are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

The SPC Sneaky Veg range for happy little human beings comes in a four pack of 220g cans and includes:

  • Great sneaky veg

    My son is a great eater but I sometimes have an issue getting him to eat veggies. He loves baked beans with toast for breakfast on weekends so when I found the sneaky veg baked beans I figured I’d give it a shot. For a child who fusses over veggies, he has no idea that they are in his beans because he eats every last drop. He loves them! Success!

  • My kids enjoy eating all vegetables so I don’t need to hide them in their food. But In saying that this is a great way to get children that straight up refuse to eat veggies to enjoy them. My kids love spc spaghetti and baked beans and the vegetables in it are just that little added extra.

    SPC Sneaky Veg-Spag-a-Stralia has quickly become a firm favourite in our house. It has been requested and eaten and I will need to go to the grocery store to buy some more for the hungry tummies in this house. Delighted with this product and happy to have a food on hand that is healthy and enjoyed too!

  • SPC Sneaky and Nice!

    After reading reviews on Mom’s by members; I decided to buy and try SPC Sneaky Veg-Spag-a-Stralia. I easily found it at my local grocery store and was happy with the price and bought a pack to trial. Everyone in the house had a bowl and the verdict is “yummy!” Delighted with this product.

  • Fun for kids!

    The kids were all excited about trying something new. They loved the shapes, it was a real novelty. Meanwhile it took the pressure off me as I knew there was plenty of nutrition in the hidden veg. The taste was great also, well it must have been or my two year old would have thrown it on the floor! I’d definitely buy these again and recommend to my friends.

  • Hidden but not in name

    My son thought the spaghetti was delicious and like the fact that it is easier to eat than spaghetti. He did however notice the large label when it arrived and was concerned about the sneaky veg. I think they could hide this on the label better with smaller writing. After being encouraged to eat it though he was happy with the taste and texture and said he would happily eat it again.

    My kids loved it, didnt notice the veges and asked me to buy more. It will be a regular in my shopping basket from now on. Just the perfect size for a quick snack

  • Quick easy healthy and My kids LOVE IT

    Decided to try the new SPC sneaky veg spag-a-stralia with my 3 year old son for lunch we got it all ready so easy may I add pull back ring pull lid empty in a bowl and heat!!
    Had him sitting at the bench ready I thought I’d take a few pics for review well he let me take 2 pics them said “that’s enough photos mummy this is yummy and I want it all now”
    That’s speaks for it self in a review !

  • sneaky but tasty and delightful

    I gave this to my daughter she had no idea what was hidden in it till I told her at the end after she had ate it all how she liked it. She said it was *yummy* so there you go parents its not just any spagetti its full of vegies too which are good for you

  • Great taste better than other tin pasta

    My 2 little kids liked the taste and ate all of it. They are both very fussy eaters and won’t eat vegies. I know they are getting some vegies when they eat this pasta.

  • Love this in our house

    Our boys love “Straya-Sghetti” as they call it. Especially our youngest, if allowed he would eat Spag-A-Stralia for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. It isn’t an overpowering sauce that it comes in and the Australian icon pasta shapes make meal time fun. HOWEVER, just of recent times Spag-A-Stralia has become NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO find in our local area, making for some disappointed boys. Our local Coles, Woolies, and IGA no longer stock it? So if anyone has any luck and can actually find it to purchase, I would have no problems highly recommending the product to you and your family.

  • Fantastic quick healthy lunch

    My kids love this for.lunch.
    Its a great size to send to day care in the lunchbox. My daughter likes hers cold where as the boy likes his hot on toast.
    Such an easy way to get some goodness into them with out the fight we usually have with veggies.

  • Even for fussy kids

    My son is really fussy especially veggies. These are great for lunch or easy tea, after school snacks & he doesn’t even no he’s eating sneaky veggies. My son loves the numberghetti & spag-a-stralia. The can convenient to take anywhere heat up & serve. This is a must to put in your grocery list

  • Hidden health

    Spc have provided a good product that enables parents to feed fussy children and know they have a healthy dinner. I’m not saying it’s good all the time but on days when you don’t have the energy to fight over Veges then it’s great to have a fall back meal the kids enjoy and have their Veges without knowing it. My niece is a fussy eater and it works with her. She loves Spc spaghetti.

  • Hidden Veges equal health

    My four year old niece plays up when it comes to eating her vegges. I find a can of Spc Sneaky veg is a sure way to have a peaceful dinner and a way to make sure she is getting the required vegetables to stay healthy. Not to say her mum won’t persist until she eats veggies but some days she hasn’t the energy to fight so this is a good product in the interim.

    My threenager is going through a phase of not eating anything healthy that I prepare. I am so glad to have found this. He loves pasta, and he loves spaghetti, but little does he know there are also hidden vegies in there. The things you have to do in order to get your kids to eat vegetables!

  • Great for a quick meal

    My kids liked this product though probably not as much as the original spaghetti but they did like the shapes and the taste.
    I liked that a can feed this to them knowing that it’s a good source of protein and fibre, low in sugar, salt and fat free and they have no idea that it is good for them.
    I will defiantly buy these products again it a great quick meal to have in the pantry.

  • Great product boys love it

    Spc fruits are awesome. My sons gobble these down and polish off the whole thing. They’re very big fruit eaters so I go through quite a few of these each week. I know quite a few of my friends use these. I haven tried the sneak a veg but my sons weren’t huge fans but I think I’ll give them another go as they were sick when we Tried them.

    My kids love these as a replacement for sandwiches in their lunchboxes. And the 4 pack is very cheap also handy to have in the cupboard for lazy lunches or dinner.

  • SPC does it again!

    I’m always trying to find bigger and better ways to get my kids to eat right, without all the added sugars, sodium, colours, flavours, preservatives, etc. Somehow SPC always seems to nail it every time. The pasta pieces are fun shapes, which the little ones love, the baked beans are awesome, and there is at least 1 serve of vegies in each serving. What’s not to love!? The kids love the flavour, I love that it’s Aussie, and that it’s healthier than most gunk you find in tins. I really do recommend this product. Give it a go, you won’t regret it. 🙂

    I have a 3 year old Son, he is such a fussy eater this product has saved me on the days he refuses to eat anything, he finished the whole bowl with some bread and is a happy chappy, great flavor and filling for little mouths. when doing my shopping this is always on my list.

  • A good back up meal

    Before I get a huge serve of being un-Australian, I really like supporting Australian companies like SPC but their product “sneaky veg” wasn’t everything I hoped it would be. Even though it has reduced sugar and salt levels, there is still a decent serve in the can for it’s size. I liked that there was a serve of veg in each can, and I am a big fan of baked beans but I tend to prefer to make my own. However, having said that my kids liked eating this product and I think it would make a great back up meal if you’ve run out of time for dinner. I wouldn’t recommend it as a regular thing to eat in our cupboard but it’s certainly a quick and easy meal and has some good nutrients in it. We tried this simply because I ran out of time to make dinner one day and nipped down to the shops to grab some milk and whatever else I could rustle up quickly for the kids.

  • Great for the kids!!!!

    My kids always love to eat baked beans and spaghetti and with SPC being their favourite brand I was more than happy to try these! The kids loved the sneaky veg variety just as much if not more than the normal variety. And best of all of course it had the veg in it meaning it was even better health wise for the kids! Will keep these handy in the cupboard for those easy dinners or lunches.

  • Always a winner.

    WOW SPC spaghetti and sneaky veg with extra cheese added in a jaffle..what a delicious and easy treat to eat.. little kids and big kids te he simply love these. SPC 100% Aussie and 100% Tasty can’t get any better than that. SPC SNEAKY VEG is lower in salt and sugar and that is a bonus for us moms. Delicious and nutritious and a very handy go to either hot or cold ….I’m sold.

  • Easy meal in a flash.

    SPC Sneaky Veg is a wonderful staple in our pantry. Simply grab a tin and in a instant you have a delicious and nutritious meal. Great for breakie, lunch or dinner this one is a winner.
    SPC Aussie and true blue and totally yummy for me and you. Low in sugar and salt and with a sneaky veg included it’s a moms delight.

  • A winter warmer that's delicious and nutritious.

    So we all know it’s been a very cold winter, icy cold and biting winds. But this little tin of pure bliss warms up the tummy and satisfies the youngens and me..te he . till dinner. Delicious on warm toast, it’s Aussie made and the added sneaky veg is a moms delight.
    OOPPS forgot to mention it’s also wonderful for breakie too and will have the children power their way through the morning.

  • In love with this incredible Aussie product

    This is a winner in our house and is much loved by the kids …. Ok and me!! It tastes really good, and the kids love grating their own portion of cheese over the top of the dish. It is also really good on a pizza base, with stringy mozzarella and some chicken – which I always have cooked and pre packaged in 100g snack size packs in my freezer – oh we also add pineapple xxx

  • Oooh these look sooo good. While I love a good traditional Anzac biscuit especially on Anzac day I love how these sort of combine an Anzac biscuit with a lamington plus ice cream is always an added bonus. I might just have to give these a go for dessert! Thank you!

  • This is such a great serving suggestion for ANZAC biscuits. I had never actually thought of doing this. I usually eat them on their own. I reckon you could do a different flavour ice-cream too. I think caramel would work really well too. I always love a good bit of ice cream.

  • I am a huge fan of a yummy and sweet ice cream sandwiches because they simply taste so sweet and so delicious. Anzac biscuits are such incredibly good biscuits for making ice cream sandwiches for the family. They are also a good size for storing and for serving to the family.

  • This is a great idea to put a spin on the original Anzac cookie. Love it, I think the kids would absolutely love this idea. It is something you can get them involved in and make together. Anzac biscuits are so tasty but adding ice cream and chocolate as well. I feel like I am in heaven.

  • Oh thats a different twist! Never seen a recipe like this one. I definitely love a good Anzac biscuit and can definitely imagine this one being so delicious! Love the added touch of shredded coconut for that little bit of texture and chewiness.. a perfect treat to enjoy with the kiddies!
