SPC understands that getting kids to eat their daily dose of vegetables can be a dinner table battleground for mums.

Helping to make life easier for mums and mealtime delicious for fussy kids, SPC has launched its new Sneaky Veg range of baked beans and spaghetti.

Every 220g can has at least one serve of veg that can’t be seen so kids can enjoy a tasty meal they love as well as getting the nutrition that they need. In fact, SPC baked beans includes 2.7 serves of vegetables in every can and the SPC Spag-A-stralia includes 1.3 serves in every can*.

The SPC Sneaky Veg range is a source of protein and fibre and has the added benefits of being low in sugar, low in salt and 99% fat free. There are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

The SPC Sneaky Veg range for happy little human beings comes in a four pack of 220g cans and includes:

  • Great sneaky veg

    My son is a great eater but I sometimes have an issue getting him to eat veggies. He loves baked beans with toast for breakfast on weekends so when I found the sneaky veg baked beans I figured I’d give it a shot. For a child who fusses over veggies, he has no idea that they are in his beans because he eats every last drop. He loves them! Success!

  • My kids enjoy eating all vegetables so I don’t need to hide them in their food. But In saying that this is a great way to get children that straight up refuse to eat veggies to enjoy them. My kids love spc spaghetti and baked beans and the vegetables in it are just that little added extra.

    SPC Sneaky Veg-Spag-a-Stralia has quickly become a firm favourite in our house. It has been requested and eaten and I will need to go to the grocery store to buy some more for the hungry tummies in this house. Delighted with this product and happy to have a food on hand that is healthy and enjoyed too!

  • SPC Sneaky and Nice!

    After reading reviews on Mom’s by members; I decided to buy and try SPC Sneaky Veg-Spag-a-Stralia. I easily found it at my local grocery store and was happy with the price and bought a pack to trial. Everyone in the house had a bowl and the verdict is “yummy!” Delighted with this product.

  • Fun for kids!

    The kids were all excited about trying something new. They loved the shapes, it was a real novelty. Meanwhile it took the pressure off me as I knew there was plenty of nutrition in the hidden veg. The taste was great also, well it must have been or my two year old would have thrown it on the floor! I’d definitely buy these again and recommend to my friends.

  • Hidden but not in name

    My son thought the spaghetti was delicious and like the fact that it is easier to eat than spaghetti. He did however notice the large label when it arrived and was concerned about the sneaky veg. I think they could hide this on the label better with smaller writing. After being encouraged to eat it though he was happy with the taste and texture and said he would happily eat it again.

    My kids loved it, didnt notice the veges and asked me to buy more. It will be a regular in my shopping basket from now on. Just the perfect size for a quick snack

  • Quick easy healthy and My kids LOVE IT

    Decided to try the new SPC sneaky veg spag-a-stralia with my 3 year old son for lunch we got it all ready so easy may I add pull back ring pull lid empty in a bowl and heat!!
    Had him sitting at the bench ready I thought I’d take a few pics for review well he let me take 2 pics them said “that’s enough photos mummy this is yummy and I want it all now”
    That’s speaks for it self in a review !

  • sneaky but tasty and delightful

    I gave this to my daughter she had no idea what was hidden in it till I told her at the end after she had ate it all how she liked it. She said it was *yummy* so there you go parents its not just any spagetti its full of vegies too which are good for you

  • Great taste better than other tin pasta

    My 2 little kids liked the taste and ate all of it. They are both very fussy eaters and won’t eat vegies. I know they are getting some vegies when they eat this pasta.

  • easy product, tasty, simple meal for sunday nights

    I used it to make toastie sandwiches, nothing exotic but my kids loved them, I used wholegrain bread which my children love anyway, and using my trusty sandwich toaster I made toasties, a few has some light cheese grated in with them as well, but the kids ate them up, wanted more, actually had difficulty keeping up, obviously I would prefer to give my kids fresh fruit and veg but sometimes this in not possible and for a quick Sunday night tea after the weekend activities it made for a wholesome meal, that was warm and filling, I did give them fruit and yoghurt for dessert so not all was lost, will definitely keep in the pantry.

  • Cheeky and Fun, Tasty and Fresh

    Having tried the SPC my daily fruit and hit a winner I had to try the SPC Sneaky Veg. My daughter is a vegetarian who loves vegetables so we don’t need to sneak any veggies in this household she at the ripe age of one opens the fridge and helps herself to as many greens throughout the day as she likes. However for variety and something a little bit different and special we got the Sneaky Veg and she ‘LOVED THEM’.

    She enjoyed the taste and finished the serve which for most processed foods she really leaves half so that was a win right away.

    I would recommend it, tastes lovely even for us mums 😉 For fussy veggie eaters it would be fantastic just to get a little extra veggie in there, it is most definitely worth a try.

    I likes also the low sodium, this is important to me as I believe kids do not need all the added salts that are in regular foods, their livers are so small there is just no need.

    The product is great and I would get it from time to time or as a meal backup for those very infrequent lazy nights.

  • Tastes like regular spaghetti!

    SPC sneaky veg tastes the same as regular spaghetti, at least that’s what my kids say! They haven’t noticed any changes and happily eat it up, no problems at all. Good to know, that if I’m being a little slack and giving the kids spaghetti on toast for dinner, that they’re still getting a serve of vegetables.

  • Great, simple product.

    My kids aren’t too bad with vegies and fruit but these are great for convenience, lunchboxes etc. They are affordable and something different that my boys even see as a treat.

  • A great solution to the fussy veg eater

    I have a son that can be a very fussy eater and will only eat 2 veg broccoli and corn and I’m forever trying to hide veg in his food. One food he does love is can spaghetti as a snack. So this product was perfect for him and was a solution for me as I didn’t have to try and hide some nutrition in the food for him.

  • Easy Quick Meal

    I found this to be an easy quick meal to give the kids, at the end of a full on day. The kids find it easy to eat and it doesn’t make me feel so bad knowing that it has veggies added. 🙂

  • We love sneaky veg

    We struggle to get my daughter to eat vegetables but she loves spaghetti. Sneaky Veg appeals to her love of spaghetti and I love it for the low sugar low salt aspect. Any product that helps me to get vegetables into my daughters diet is a good product for me.

  • kids love it

    well my kids have tried this before but we hadn’t bought it in awhile so we tried it again. the kids really don’t seem to mind it and i really recommend that you heat it up thoroughly so that it does taste nice. i love how i am giving my children some vegies because they will not eat it if they see it on their plate. at least i can have that little piece of mind. i would give this as an addition to their diet and not a total substitution because we still have to teach our kids to eat vegies

  • Sneaky why to hide those vegies

    SPC Spag-a-stralia Tomato and cheese with sneaky vegetable was a success with the kids. The shape was very attractive. I think we were more excited about the shape than the kids were. Afraid to say that we didn’t like the flavour at all which really surprised me as SPC is the only brand of spag and beans that I like. Sorry to say that we won’t be buying for us however we may buy them to sneak them to the toddler again.

    I loved that SPC Baked Beans Rich Tomato with sneaky vegetable is low in sugar and salt and not compromise on the taste or flavour.   • This product is great!

    I tasted this myself and it tasted great! And couldn’t even tell there were vegetables in it
    My daughter happily ate it all and even asked for more!
    I think that there should be more of these types of options out there to save people stressing out about how to get their children to eat the good stuff!
    I’ll definitely be recommending this to my mummy friends!! Love it!

  • Tricked my fussy eater!

    My 3 year old son has recently become a fussy eater. One thing I could always get him to eat was SPC baked beans but lately even those have been refused. Fortunately, he ate and enjoyed the Spag-a-stralia with sneaky veg for his tea earlier this week. They will now be my back-up in the cupboard for those nights (many) where the family meal is rejected by him!
