How to prepare Vegie Delights Vegie Sausages.

Please always follow cooking instructions on the back of pack.

If you are using a pan or BBQ, cook on medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Vegie Delights Vegie Sausages are also perfect in the Air Fryer! Cook for 6 – 7 minutes on 160°C.

Always remember to heat thoroughly and evenly before eating.  Also good to know is that over cooking may dry or toughen your Vegie Delights Vegie Sausages so cook gently according to these instructions.

    First ‘faux meat’ I’ve tried and actually enjoyed. To me they tasted the exact same as regular sausages. My 2 kids also ate them with no issues and not once questioned anything about them.

  • Tasty snags

    I bought two packs of Vegie Delights plant based sausages for dinner tonight. I prepared a bangers and mash meal out of them. The taste was delicious and was an easy swap from beef based sausages. My son was impressed by the taste and he’s a fussy eater. The whole family devoured their meal with second helpings. I love the fact that it’s made in Australia. I will definitely buy these again!

  • Surprisingly good!

    I was sceptical at first with this product but once we cooked them up & served them to the whole family, everyone enjoyed them, the texture is different to what we are used to in a sausage but still a great texture to eat & tasted great, lots of flavour! Will purchase again!

    Oh wow, these sausages were absolutely amazing. So quick and easy to cook, they have a wonderful taste and texture. They feel very light in the stomach which is amazing, and they were loved by the whole family, from the oldest to the youngest! These are a wonderful addition to the weekly menu, and will definitely be purchased again!

  • Pleasantly surprised!

    I really enjoyed these sausages and so did my two year old daughter. They were quick to cook (especially compared to typical sausages!) but had the texture and taste I’d expect from a sausage. Will try them as a ‘sausage sizzle’ next!

    Just yum! So tasty, the flavour and satisfaction you get when smashing one of these is soo good when you are craving a quick meal or a yummy lunch/dinner that doesn’t take too long to prepare! I found these so easy to work with and even used some to make a sausage roll which was soooo delicious! I recommend them in a wrap with bbq sauce or on there own with salad so yummy and just want I was craving! They have now become a staple on the shopping list!   • Great Meat Alternative!

    Found these packs of sausages in the meat free section at Woolies and was surprised to find such variety of other products available.

    Brought it home and we just did a simple sausage sizzle, fried them up as per the instructions on the back and slapped them in some fresh white bread with some tomato sauce. They tasted very similar to a beef sausage but there was a distinct texture to it, I enjoyed it, so did two out of three of my kids.

    Delicious taste and portion size was nice. I did find it rather pricey for the pack you get. I would have to buy 2-3 to maybe feed everyone in our household but it was still a very enjoyable meal.

    I would definitely consider keeping a pack handy in the freezer for another that happens a to be vegetarian or vegan so at least I’ve got something else substantial to offer if it came to meal time.

  • Yummy and nice mild taste

    I am usually sceptical when it comes to trying plant based sausages but I have to say Vegie Sasuages have surprised me! If you are a meat lover, let me tell you straight away, these sausages don’t taste like meat but they do have a “meat-like” texture. I don’t mind the taste actually. It tastes much better than other brands I have tried. You get a lot of wheaty flavour but it’s not overpowering and there’s a bit of spicy flavour coming trough too which is interesting. They also don’t leave that weird aftertaste in your mouth like some plant based sausages do and I think this is one of the biggest reasons I love them. They also have a nice light bbq smell if cooked. Or it could because I pan fry them!? It only takes 4-5 minutes to cook so it’s super convenient if you are in a rush.

  • Surpringsly yummy

    Getting the kids to eat more vegetables without it looking like vegetables is a daily struggle. These are great. Hide them perfectly in pasta etc and the kids don’t even know that it’s vegetables. Tastes great so it’s a win win.

  • Tasty alternative to the classic Aussie Snag

    Although my whole family of five were not sold on the vegetarian alternative. I (mum) really enjoyed cooking the vegie delights, very quick and easy mid-week dinner and it is hard to tell the difference to meat sausages. I would like to incorporate this as a meal for the family on quick sport/busy nights after work.

  • Yummy and convenient

    I thought these were yummy and easy to prepare. I had them with a fresh green salad. As they were cooking they smelled great and the texture and taste was good. Only comment is I would bot recommend cooking them in the air fyer (even though instructions on pack say so). They get a much better, crispy texture on the outside if cooked in pan with light spray of oil.

  • Good for one time

    It’s good for trying one time but I didn’t like the texture, the taste is also very bland but you can try it for a change or add some chilli sauce with it.

  • The warmer weather tends to make alcohol go to my head faster – I’m not a big drinker, but just for that reason I’d seriously consider a low alcohol wine. The Pinot Grigio particularly sound as if I might enjoy it. I might well buy a bottle or two for Christmas.

  • Chapel Hill Wines do have quite a good reputation. I like the fact that it is low alcohol content. Personally, I like a very sweet wine but many would like these as they are not so sweet. I wish them well with sales and think it’s good they are doing something about lowering alcohol level.

  • I just asked the forum for recommendations on zero alcohol, but this is an attractive option as well! I do enjoy a Rose, so will try this one after all the positive reviews. It’s a shame they don’t have a sparkling in their collection yet! Would have been prefect for all the celebrating at this time of year.

  • I dislike rose, but the pinot grigio sounds like it might suit me. To be honest, the alcohol content doesn’t bother me all that much – I rarely drink more than a glass or two anyway – but it would probably be nice from a general health point of view to know I’m consuming less alcohol.

  • It was the first time for me hearing about the chapel hill brand. And i still recall when i picked up the Pinot Grigio from my local, the staff there actually stopped me and said i picked a winner! She said that it was probably the best Pinot they had available to sell.

  • I’ve heard a lot of good things about Chapel Hill wines and the reviews are always good. I like that they have low alcohol range as I like to have a few glasses when I finally get to have one. Not being too sweet is a bonus that suits me well.

  • The idea of having a lower alcohol content wine without compromising taste is really exciting. There’s nothing worse than feeling “under the weather” from the effects of alcohol. This lovely wine ticks all the boxes, lower alcohol and a refreshing flavour. I’m keen to get the Pinot Grigio in my cart and into my fridge!

  • This wine sounds delightful and really refreshing to enjoy on a summer afternoon. I love that it tastes fresh and crisp and still has the same punch as other wine. It sounds like an absolute delight. I will have to give it a try next time i am at the bottle shop looking for some wine.
