Superstar mum Rihanna has welcomed her second baby boy, just days after launching an exquisite maternity line. Talk about perfect timing!

According to People, Rihanna is now a mum of two, after giving birth to a baby boy, her second child with partner A$AP Rocky.

It comes not long after she released a series of beautiful images with her 15-month-old RZA son to celebrate the launch of her maternity line.

Her intimates brand Savage X Fenty now includes maternity bras, which Rihanna herself designed (and yes, you can purchase them in Australia – head to Savage X Fenty to check them out!).

She launched the new line with a series of adorable photos with RZA, saying the maternity range is, “Not ur mama’s maternity bras”.

Rihanna’s Racy Maternity Shoot

Back in May, Rihanna released a series of stunning maternity images celebrating her first pregnancy, as she prepared to welcome her second baby.

And she’s also confirmed the name of her first-born, son RZA. His birth certificate was made public, and Rihanna confirmed her little boy’s name is RZA Athelston Mayers.

The name is a nod to producer and rapper RZA, the iconic leader of the Wu-Tang Clan. And in case you’re wondering how RZA is pronounced, it’s ‘Rizza’ – if the name is indeed the same as the rapper’s!

The beauty mogul confirmed his name in an Instagram post, which included a series of racy maternity photos, taken when she was pregnant with RZA.

“Here’s a little series I call ‘Rub on ya titties’,” Rihanna captioned the images.

“In honour of my first pregnancy, embracing motherhood like a g, and the magic that this body made! Baby RZA… he in there not having a clue how nuts his mama is, or how obsessed he was bout to make me.”

It comes as the 35-year-old and her partner and A$AP Rocky await the arrival of their second bundle of joy, again showing off her amazing baby bump in daring high fashion.

Rihanna revealed she was expecting her second baby, during her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The superstar performed her biggest hits during the 13 minute show, and her all-red outfit revealed a gorgeous baby bump.

The incredibly talented 34-year-old said she has some very particular stipulations about her baby celebration.

“No brunch, no blush tones. And no animal-shaped nothing,” she told Vogue. “I mean it’s lit for a lot of people—I’ve even planned a couple of baby showers like that myself—it’s just not right for me. Personally, I want a party. I want everyone to be plastered and crawling out. And it’s got to be co-ed! Don’t put me on no wicker chair somewhere with gifts at my feet where everyone is staring at me.”

She also said she wouldn’t be holding a gender reveal party. “I asked my doctor: Is something wrong with me for not wanting this? Because people keep asking me. Am I a bad mum? When we’re ready to tell the world, we’ll just tell them.”

‘I’m not ashamed of my body’

Rihanna has had mums all over the world swooning over her impeccable pregnancy style – no maternity jeans, or maternity clothing at all, in sight.

“When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, There’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle. I’m sorry—it’s too much fun to get dressed up,” she said. “I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.

“My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”

Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Reveal Pregnancy

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky revealed they were expecting their first baby together in January in the sweetest way possible.

The pair took a loving stroll in New York City, with Rihanna debuting her beautiful baby pump, underneath a stunning long, pink jacket. As the snow fell in Harlem, where A$AP Rocky grew up, the couple walked along hand in hand and stopped for gentle kisses.

The 33-year-old singer looked beautiful as she smiled and held hands with her 33-year-old boyfriend, as a photographer snapped images of the loved-up pair.

The couple confirmed their relationship in November 2020, after many years of friendship. A$AP Rocky has previously said fatherhood is ‘in my destiny’ and that he would make a ‘remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.’

While Rihanna said in a 2020 interview with British Vogue that she could see herself having three or four children in the next ten years, with or without a partner.

“I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong …’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives,” said Rihanna. “But the only thing that matters is happiness; that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
