Who’d have thought The Bachelor could produce a happy committed relationship. I’ve never watched the show. There is something demeaning about a groupful of women competing against each other for the attention of one man. It’s like we’ve gone back in time to when women of a marriageable age (back then I think it was about 18) were presented at balls for them to flirt prettily at the available men to garner their attention and receive a marriage proposal before the season was over. I love my historical romance novels but that kind of fawning behaviour belongs in history and fiction not on our television sets.

What a way to make an entrance into this world. So glad Mother and daughter are doing well now. Congratulations to this lovely family.
