A young cancer patient died surrounded by loved ones who sung the hit song Let It Go, as she took her last breath.
Miami-Lee Mauger, 6, from Brisbane was born with brain cancer but was only diagnosed with the condition in 2013, which saw her have up to 20 seizures a day. Her family were raising money to get her treatment but sadly it was too late.

Miami-Lee loved Frozen, so what better way to say goodbye as she took her final breath.
A post on the Miami-Lee’s Lifesaving Appeal Facebook page said: “It is with much sadness that at 11:51pm on the 23rd of November with all her family by her side Miami grew her angel wings and is at peace and free of pain we love you more than words can say and we will miss you so much this happened much quicker than expected but at least you did not suffer as she passed we played the song and sang let it go.”
Miami-Lee’s mother Katrina told Daily Mail Australia she treasured every moment she had with her daughter.
‘As parents we can look back and know that we did the best we could for her and remained strong,’ she said.
‘We made sure that Miami had a great life and got to do and have everything that she ever wanted. We never waited, we just did it.’
Ms Mauger revealed to Daily Mail Australia she and her daughter had a close bond as they spent a lot of time together in her final months.
‘I will miss her so much. We were together all the time. She always slept in our bed with me when Dad was away [for work],’ she said.
‘We have had so much love and support along the way, and especially now as well.
‘She was such a strong and brave little girl who never cried or complained.’
Our thoughts are with the family at this time.
