Does anyone know the recommended kj intake for a 25 year old female woman to maintain?
I know on the packages it says 8700 kj and i know this varies.
I have looked on the internet but so many varying opinions.

  • It all depends on what you hope to achieve. For weight maintenance, the 8700kj is a good guide. If you want to lose weight, lower the kids intake. If you’re active, naturally you’ll be able to eat more with no effect then if you’re a couch potato. Go online for a look or pay a visit to your GP for good advice


  • It depends how heavy you are and if you want to lose weight, put on weight or maintain weight?
    I am currently on 1500 calories a day but I am in the process of losing 30kg.
    There should be a guide on most health and fitness sites. :)
