Popular breakfast TV weather presenter Sam Mac and his fiancee Rebecca James are adding to their family – revealing they’re expecting their second child together.

The couple, who are parents to 17-month-old Margot Grace, shared the happy news on Instagram, with a cute family snap, captioned: ‘“Baby Mac” (the sequel) premiering this August 2024. Starring Margot as The Big Sister #MacDaddy #Round2.’

The couple announced their engagement in December, after three years together.

They welcomed their first child Margot in September 2022.

The Sunrise weather presenter announced the arrival of their daughter on social media, with the new dad gushing about his beautiful little girl, and his amazing partner.

“This is a love I never even knew existed. I’m overwhelmed and still processing it all right now. My girls. Wow,” Sam wrote.

“@rebeccajames_stylist was (& is) a warrior. I will never forget what she endured over the past 9 months, and particularly the past few days for our little family. Unbelievable strength. What a woman ???????? There will be a separate post about that soon.

“In the meantime I just want to say a heartfelt thanks to @drmorris_sydneymotherandbaby (the rock star of the delivery ward) & team. I’m the happiest man on the planet right now ???? if anyone needs me, my schedule for the next little while will be:

The couple announced in April 2022 that they were expecting their first baby, with Sam saying “Wowsers! Mini Mac coming soon & Bec just can’t wipe the joy off her face.”

The couple set up Margot’s nursery in just four days.
