Warner Bros. Discovery Australia is inviting all Harry Potter devotees to enjoy a spectacular Christmas lights display with a wizarding theme. Mouths of Mums had a sneak peek and it is AMAZING!

The enchanting Christmas lights display has officially opened to the public for a limited time, and features dozens of iconic Harry Potter items. From the Whomping Willow to Dobby, floating candles and Christmas trees with the Hogwarts house colours.

The whimsical world of Harry Potter Christmas Lights also includes glowing Golden Snitches and Patronus Animals, and lots of little touches the whole family will enjoy looking for.

What: The Harry Potter Christmas House
Where: 30 Alfred Street, Ramsgate Beach in Sydney
When: Wednesday 13 to Tuesday 26 December, from 7:30 daily
Cost: Free

“Harry Potter is getting ready to cast a spell on Australia this holiday season and next year,” said Senior Director of Marketing at Warner Bros. Discovery Australia Sasha Mackie.

“Whether you’re a lifelong fan or looking for a new Christmas tradition, our magical Harry Potter Christmas Lights house is a must-visit destination and something everyone can enjoy.

“The Harry Potter Christmas Lights house will be lighting up every night from now until December 26, meaning fans and families have enough time to visit Sydney with their wands (and cameras) in hand to experience the magic this Christmas.”

And don’t worry if you’re not in Sydney, there’s plenty of Harry Potter magic spreading across Australia.

Victoria is welcoming the Australian premiere of Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience to the Mornington Peninsula on April 6, 2024. This magical outdoor trail experience is inspired by the iconic Forbidden Forest and features creatures from the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ series.

  • It looks fantastic but I’m not going to be able to see it in person. Living in WA we miss out on most things whether it’s concerts or special rides or this. At least I can see the pictures.

  • I’m lost …what has Warner Bros. Discovery Australia got to do with this ….I thought this was a private home and the family put all this up. ? Am I confused or what ??? Can any mom’s enlighten me.
