A few years ago adult colouring in had a massive surge and shops were filled with gorgeous adult colouring pages to help us frazzled grown-ups to de-stress and take a moment to breathe and get creative.

Adults are turning to colouring pages to find a bit of tranquility, to reduce anxiety and improve mindfulness. And it’s a FREE activity that you can take anywhere you go. Plus the kids will love grabbing their colouring pages at the same time as you do. It may even get them off their iPad.

We’ve got a list of some fantastic free adult colouring pages. All you need to do is print them out, grab your crayons or textas, breathe deeply and find a bit of colouring in zen in all the chaos of grown-up life.

1) Just Color

Just Color is a massive repository of free coloring pages for adults. They offer over 1,500 free pages to download as a PDF or to print. There are various themes, artists, difficulty levels and styles. Some of our favourites include the gorgeous Mandalas.

2) Super Coloring

Paint the World with Super Coloring is a fantastic collection of adult colouring pages. We love the variety of different themes and they get quite specific, such as Inca Art, Japanese Dolls, Psychedelic Ornaments, doodles as well as some advanced colour-by-number pages.

3) Trail of Colours

Trail of Colours is dedicated to bringing you lots of original colouring pages as well as spotlight some of the best coloring page creators out there! There are some beautiful adult colouring pages – including hearts, animals, nature, patterns and more.

4) Pinterest

Pinterest is one of the easiest ways to access good quality adult colouring pages. Check out this Pinterest board for some fantastic colouring inspiration.

5) Art Is Fun

Art is Fun features a collection of coloring pages full of detailed whimsical designs that you can download, print and color! Use brightly coloured pencils or textas to create the most gorgeous artwork.

    When my son goes to bed I have some time to relax and these books are a great way to forget about everything and ‘zone out’ for a couple of hours

  • I have so many adult colouring books and assorted things to colour in. Also have some children ones as my younger children plus grand daughter want to colour in as the same time as me sometimes. Yes I will not share my good books with them, they are mine. But I will colour in their books sometimes as they want me to colour with them. My adult children have their own books.
