The Block's Dale Vine can't contain his excitement

Dale Vine is expecting his first child in December, and to say he is excited would be an understatement.

The star of The Block has shared a beautiful photo of his pregnant wife Sophie, with the caption:

The loveable tradie has been keenly practicing in anticipation of their bub’s arrival, posting on Instagram:

“After two and a half blocks someone finally settled thanks to our @quinnyworld moodd pram. #GettingSomePracticeIn #SpewedOnMeWhenITookTheirBottleCap #ThereThere #WhoSaysYouCantUseItUntilBubComes”

Along with road-testing their pram, Dale has also taken to reading their baby stories:

“@vineyd ‘s so excited about our baby arriving in December that he’s practicing his bed time story voice already – although the ‘chime’ sound effect he keeps making at every page turn is getting a little annoying xx #babyvine”

The couple, who married in 2011, took a trip late last month, with the gorgeous Sophie posting:

“Road Trippin’ with @vineyd – stopped in byron bay, but it’s off further north tomorrow xx #roadtrip #byronbay #sunshine #whatsmyrighthanddoing”

They are such a gorgeous couple. I wish them all the best. Read lots of books and listen to people’s advice (you don’t need to agree or act on it!). I loved shopping for baby things too. Just don’t over do it as they grow so quickly!

I love to see new to be dads, they are so cute. Lets hope they continue to the dirty nappies, sleepless nights and the sometimes never ending crying. lol. Enjoy! They are so special.

Our first child, were twins, a shock but reality hit that both families had twins so it was definitely genetic. We spoke with other parents of twins and read books, keeping positive throughout the pregnancy although it was not smooth sailing. Be prepared for the rush to hospital at the oddest hours.
