The Controversial Christmas Photo's You Must See!

A photographer has put a total new spin on Christmas photo’s by getting children to pose with none other than “The Grinch”.

SEEM Photography by Sarah Elizabeth, in Texas, posted photos of kids posing with The Grinch, and they look amazing!

“Our clients love the character and do not mind the crying photos, in fact, most families want that photo for their Christmas card. The Grinch will even hang the kids upside or give them tickles so we get the belly laughs,” Elizabeth told ABC13.

Her post has been shared over 11,000 times. Some of the poor little faces will break your heart

While everyone loves the uniqueness of her photo’s many are saying how heartbreaking those little faces are to see…

At first i thought it was cruel because the kids looked really scared.. but then i remembered that most children react that way to father christmas when they are little too !

Kids that young cry at santa too. They are getting traumatised no matter who they see. We all know these photos are for the grown ups and not for the kids.

The fantasy has been ruined for the little ones.
Restrict this type of thing at a dfferent location for the older children who see the funny side of it

Depends what age the child is. Looks like the younger ones are frightened so in that case I wouldnt do it.

This is great. I think sometimes thinking outside the box can create a lot of fun for the kids as well as the parents.

The pictures look funny.
However personally I wouldn’t find delight when my kids were truly scared. Mind you, this monster could follow them in their dreams in the night, robbing them of their feeling of safety !

I feel very sorry for the little ones in the grinch photos as they look distressed. Some of the older children seem to be ok with the grinch in the photos. I would not choose this as a parent. Christmas is a magical and fun time; not a time for upset and tears. I do not get any joy out of seeing children distressed.

Love it! I want a grinch xmas photo. Tho I do worry abt occ health and safety. That grinch could put his back out, or drop a kid

Personally I like it with older kids that are not scared and know what’s going on. With smaller kids, I find it quite cruel and disturbing.

Oooo those poor kids will have aweful memories about Christmas how sad that it was done in fun prob for the adults but the kids look so upset I’m not too keen on this!
