  • One of our best holidays was in WA at Coral Bay. Very basic accomodation or camping but beautiful beaches with turtles, dolphins and plenty of fish in waist deep water straight off the beach. There are other activities like fishing, quad bikes over the dunes, swimming with manta rays, whale cruises. glass bottom boats etc. but everything was so easy, close by and back to nature.

  • Wolgan Valley would be great to take the kids to, I remember seeing it on a travel show ages ago and I think it would be great to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the big cities and get back to nature. Am a huge animal lover too.

  • I noticed a few people were after recommendations for holiday accommodation outside Queensland. My website, http://www.familyfriendlyaccommodation.com.au has almost 400 properties around Australia that are family friendly. They are not just resorts, but farm stays, B&Bs, holiday homes and more. Hope that helps. Amanda

  • I am in SA and have two children under 5 and love to travel but unfortunately have found not too many places are that excited about having young children stay. I would have loved to hear about some in SA and also in Vic and in particular resorts that are welcoming of young children
