Hello!

When Cadbury re-launched its Caramilk chocolate block, we couldn’t contain our excitement. But now, there’s something even better out there – the grown-ups only drinkable version – the Caramilk Martini.

Last year we shared the amazing news about the existence of the Frozen Rainbow Paddle Pop Martini. The distinctive candyfloss-and-caramel flavour has been whipped up with a generous shot or two of alcohol and served as an adult slushie in a martini glass. (Read more here).

And then there was also the Golden Gaytime Frozen Martini which was pure liquid honeycomb-flavoured gold.

And now our new favourite caramel flavoured chocolate is the inspiration for a decadent alcoholic beverage and we can’t think of a more delicious way to get our Caramilk hit!

Where Can You Get It?

The genius creators of the Caramilk Martini are Platform Eighty Two, a glorious cafe in Sydney’s Concord West.

This local favourite has made a name for itself with its towering platters of decadent deliciousness. There’s the world-famous breakfast platter, packed with all kinds of brekkie treats, served on a signature high-rise tower of platters.

A few weeks ago, we also reported that Cafe Eighty Two, had launched the coolest doggycinos, served in a designer doggie bowl.

But we reckon their Caramilk Martini tops it all. The drink has a Caramilk colour, is caramel-flavoured, has a generous shot or two of spirits and is topped with Caramilk chocolate. It’s served cold in a martini glass.

Make Your Own Caramilk Martini

But if you’re not near Sydney, you could always mix up your own Caramilk Martini.

All you need is Caramilk chocolate, cream, vodka, Irish Cream Liqueur and crushed ice. Check out the video below for step-by-step instructions!

  • I would definitely be keen to try this martini and the milk shake sounds fabulous too. I imagine it would be quite sweet, so I would probably be able to only have one in one sitting.
