We’ve found the perfect healthy slushy snack that will keep the whole family cool…no matter how you plan to spend your summer!

With summer well and truly underway, keeping your little ones cool has once again become a top priority. Whether it’s days at the beach, playdates with friends, or just a quiet afternoon at home, choosing healthy and refreshing snacks that your kids will enjoy can be a real challenge. It might be tempting to reach for the icy poles but what if you could get all the deliciousness of a frozen treat without any of the nasties? Thanks to the NEW Sunraysia Pouches you can!

Make A Slushy

The humble slushy has been a kid-approved summer drink for as long as we can remember, but the traditional varieties are so often loaded with sugar. Not to mention the flavours haven’t changed since we were kids! Thankfully, the six delicious flavour combinations of the NEW Sunraysia Pouches will take your slushy making to the next level. Think mouthwatering Apple & Mango, sweet Apple & Strawberry, and zingy Tropical just to name a few. To make your kids a healthy and refreshing drink at home, simply place a few of their favourite flavours in the freezer, wait until frozen, allow to melt slightly, break up into a slushy consistency, and watch them (and all their friends) come running!

Keep Lunchboxes Cool

With the new school year about to start, figuring out how to keep lunches fresh in the heat of a school bag is a dilemma mums face each and every summer. Is there anything worse than a warm ham sandwich? Or a runny yoghurt? Keeping lunches cool is not only important for taste but also for health. The NEW Sunraysia Pouches are a delicious lunchbox snack, but when frozen, they double as a super convenient ice brick that will keep lunches fresh and chilled. We also love that they come in a convenient and durable 200ml pouch that won’t split or break so you can avoid any messy food disasters.

Make Simple Swaps

If your kids just love a chilled treat in the evenings, making your own icy poles at home can be an easy way to ensure they are getting all the nutrients they need without spoiling any of the fun. The NEW Sunraysia Pouches contain one serve of fruit per pouch, have no added cane sugar or preservatives, and are 100% natural so you can be assured you are giving them the best. Simply choose a selection of pouches, empty the contents into an icy pole mould, freeze overnight, and you’ll have a summer dessert that everyone from toddlers to grandparents can enjoy.

Get Moving

Finding snacks that can keep up with a busy family schedule is so important. For long road trips, after school sports training, or warm beach days, you want to make sure you have healthy and delicious treats that will give your kids energy to enjoy each and every minute. It doesn’t hurt if they are also mum-friendly! The NEW Sunraysia Pouches are the perfect companion for whatever activity you have planned thanks to their portable packaging, range of flavours, and many serving options. We think it’s a great idea to always keep a frozen batch on hand ready to pop in the cooler bag and take with you. They keep the kids excited about snack time and are also an easy way to help fussy eaters get their daily fruit in!

Whatever way you choose to serve them, the NEW Sunraysia Pouches will quickly become a firm family favourite! We love that they can be eaten as they are, but especially enjoy the option to serve them as a slushy, particularly on hot summer afternoons. Your kids will love them too!

Try the NEW Sunraysia Pouch Juices from the 26th of January at your local Woolworths store and from the 22nd of February at your local Coles.

  • Personally I don’t think fruit juice is a healthy option and prefer to give my kids water, which you can perfectly freeze too :)
