Look if you are foolish enough to pay this price then so be it. I say save your money and and have vegemite on toast at home. its not hard to make and you can do it. Post it on Instagram and say “Made it myself”….go you

How silly!

It seems excessive but it must sell. I once paid extra for a peanut butter sandwich when we were out because that’s what I felt like eating at the time. I have also paid for coco-pops and milk at a local café to keep the kids happy. haha.

It is pricey but if you want it you will buy it!

How ludicrous! The ingredients certainly don’t cost that much so are you paying more for the presentation?! I certainly wouldn’t want it served like that either!

How ridiculous- anyone who would pay this is either desperate or gullible! It’s clearly worth no more than $2.

This just made me laugh out loud. This is my regular go-to breakfast that I eat at home. $3 Pana de Casa bread from Coles, vegemite that’s always in the cupboard, and margarine that’s always in the fridge. And I have 4 pieces of toast not the minimalist 2 in this pic. There is NO WAY I would ever order vegemite and toast out. I always like to order something I wouldn’t have at home. This however is pushing the boundaries. Laughable.

That is a ripoff. I’ve been to plenty of cafes and ordered vegemite on toast and I thought $3.50 was expensive. The bread must have been laced with gold flakes or the like

I would say ridiculous price and ridiculous to order this for breakfast! I loathe food served on a board and when it is smeared…..just no!

Seriously who goes out for breakfast and orders vegemite toast???

I hate vegemite. But rather than complain, maybe just go to the supermarket and buy a loaf of bread and a jar of vegemite?

They make a fortune with things like this.
The other day I was ordering a Babycinno for 3 of my kids, $2.50 each for just a dot of milk foam (no marshmallows, no chocolate) ! The amount of milk they use is a couple of cents !
This is how they make their money, It’s what they do ! Ridiculous but true.

I eat vegemite at home takes a few minutes, going out I’d have something special like a mega breakfast with the lot. (Then l don’t have to clean up)

Good grief. It’s kind of funny, but I wouldn’t pay for it.

I don’t like Vegemite but at that price there is not even the slightest chance. 🙂
