UK mum Elisabeth Henson shared this adorable photo of her partner Jamie Pollard ‘looking after’ their baby boy alongside her not so happy little rant.

The picture shows Mr Pollard holding their baby to his chest on their living room couch.

“Imagine spending £15 ($27 au) on a clear blue test to find out you’re pregnant, spending 9 months growing your beautiful baby, enduring morning sickness, sciatica and stretch marks, giving birth and having him absolutely destroy everything on the way out, tearing, being injected, being sewn up, having your placenta pulled out with tongs with no pain relief or numbing and getting up every single night with him since he was born…

For him to be used as a fucking Cheesecake Table that you can buy from B&M for £3.50  ($6au)” the infuriated mum posted to her Facebook page.

The post has since gone viral, with thousands of comments and 40K thousand shares on Facebook, with other mums chiming in to share their stories with the frustrated mum.

Ms Henson was surprised that the post had reached such a wide audience, and has gone on to say that her ‘rant’ was just tongue-in-cheek, and that Mr Pollard is really a loving and attentive father to their son.

  • This is gold. I love that he’s eating cheesecake from his baby’s back. I’d do the same if I could

  • Well, she sounds pretty cranky, nd most mums have eaten over their baby at some stage…

  • Oh gosh, I wouldn’t like it if my hubby did that and not that he would ever.

  • This mum needs to calm her farm. I’ve never used the baby as a stable table but I have eaten and dropped food on her too many times to count

  • Nope, didn’t notice the cheesecake until after I’d read the story. I was busy looking at the line-up of partially empty bottles wondering if they’d started to go chunky lol.

  • Who gave him the cheesecake in the first place. The baby is happy and Dad is obviously loving spending time with his son.

  • It’s obviously younger in cheek. A bit of a giggle.

  • Understand her post, but I bet she is still happy that dad minds the baby.

  • Haha. My husband dropped a bit of cheesecake on our son’s head when he was a baby and then picked it off and ate it. I think the post is relatable and funny.

  • I don’t get it

  • So I didn’t even notice the cheesecake until I read the full rant. I’m sure it’s tongue-in-cheek too.

  • Can clearly see it was just a joke..I’m sure if she was literally angry I highly doubt she would of posted it on social media.

  • I think she’s the one who sounds horrible, how about he doesnt hold his baby at all, because that happens

  • hahahah my husband used our bub’s butt as a mouse pad while getting him to sleep!

  • I found it funny and picked up the sarcasm but I agree sarcasm quite often gets missed on the Internet. Mine often flies under the radar and usually from family members who should know me better ????????

  • Sarcasm cannot be picked up easily (if at all) on social media. Be careful what and how you post.

  • This is hilarious. Anyone getting up in arms about it needs to take a step back and ask themselves why they really feel sad lol.

  • The “danger” of sharing on Social Media.
Good to read he’s a loving and attentive dad.

  • Is there such a thing as tables specifically for cheesecakes?
