Aldi has got shoppers in a spin with its affordable vegan chocolate Easter egg that is also allergy-friendly and super delicious!

The Easter season isn’t the healthiest time of the year. Chocolate is the food group of the weekend and sugar is a constant temptation. Thankfully, Aldi has come to the rescue, offering the more health conscious a chance to join in on the festive fun and avoid a number of dietary nasties at the same time!

Guilt-Free Indulgence

Aldi’s Sweet William healthy chocolate range offers customers all the joy of Easter indulgence with a difference. It is free from dairy, gluten, nuts and eggs! This makes it perfect for those with allergies, but also those who struggle to find affordable vegan chocolate. The range includes hollow chocolate Easter eggs and a chocolate bunny, both available in milk and white chocolate options. Not only is the chocolate vegan and allergy friendly, but it also has less saturated fat than other chocolate products and contains no artificial colours or preservatives.

All About Balance

While we don’t have any plans to totally ban Cadbury Creme Eggs and other Easter favourites from our chocolate stash this weekend, we have to give Aldi points for catering to a variety of dietary requirements. There is nothing more frustrating than being forced to pay extra simply because you need to avoid certain ingredients in your chocolate so Aldi’s range is a welcome addition!
