This incredible mum is taking the concept of balance to a whole new level!

Carlee Benear is a new mum who has found internet fame for posting photos of herself breastfeeding in almost any position! A yoga fanatic, Carlee’s flexibility and strength has fascinated her followers as she quite literally juggles exercise and motherhood at the same time.

Overcoming Postpartum Depression

Carlee’s journey started as a way to overcome her struggle with postpartum depression after the birth of her first child. We all know that exercise is one of the most common recommendations for any mental health concern, but in Carlee’s case, yoga was something she could do whilst still being at home with her children. “As my second child grew older, it became more challenging for me to make it out of the house,” she told parents.com. “I enjoy being a home body. I still needed an activity to help me work off the frustrations that come with parenting. So, I decided to try yoga. My journey with yoga caught fire, it is something that makes me happy. It’s also something that my children enjoy.”

A Chance To Bond

The breastfeeding photos powerfully demonstrate Carlee’s bond with her children, and are a reminder of the incredible courage and strength she showed in the face of her challenges after giving birth. “When I go back and look at my photos, I see strength,” Carlee said. “I see the woman my children see. A parent who is actively trying to be better every single day. I want my children to look back on those photos and find the urge to always try.”

We think Carlee is an inspiration to all mothers, not because of her incredible creativity and fitness, but instead because of her determination and positive attitude. It also serves as an important reminder to all mums to take care of themselves once in a while!

What do you think of Carlee’s incredible photos? Let us know in the comments!

  • It’s amazing but I’d rather just sit and cuddle my baby.

  • I use breastfeeding time as an excuse to sit for 10 minutes.

  • Great for her but I would be a danger to the baby.

  • That’s amazing! Go her!

  • She’s incredible good on her very flexible I could not do it

  • So could not do that even when younger. My breast feeding needed to be sitting down or with one child had to be fed up hill due to my supply.

  • Gosh she is clever!! I can’t even breastfed and drink a bottle of water at the same time! ????

  • That’s very flexible! Personally I’d prefer my yoga to be solo and relaxing.

    • I am with you – prefer yoga solo and do not believe in multi tasking. I believe in giving everything full focus.

  • Take is taking mult tasking to a whole new level!

  • Oh! She is incredibly flexible!!

  • Beautiful, love it !

  • That’s awesome for her, I have no flexibility, so feeding done sitting down.

  • I like yoga time to be completely separate time.

  • I could shop and feed but anything else would cause me to fall over or break in half, I am neither flexible or coordinated

  • I always enjoyed the chance to sit down and relax while feeding! Good on her if this works for her.
