Unconditional love - Mouths of Mums

They say mothers have unconditional love for their children.

I say babies have unconditional love for their mothers too. I love being this little bundle’s most loved person in the whole world.

Perhaps you didn’t like the yucky gooey stuff I gave you for lunch today; perhaps I didn’t spend much time playing with you this afternoon; and perhaps I wasn’t very patient and nice at the 3am feed.

But no matter what, you light up when I walk into the room; you stop crying the instant I pick you up; and you get all excited and giggly when I finally sat down to play with you.

Mummy is not perfect, but mummy loves you… and I know you love me too.

this is lovely to think about that way. my children are always so happy so see me or their dad and always greet us with the biggest smiles and hugs.
