It’s a Gen-Z favourite and a social media viral sensation, and now Bubble Skincare is finally launching in Australia.

Hugely popular among Gen-Alpha tweens after amassing almost three million TikTok followers, Aussie devotees have had to have the skincare brand shipped down under since its launch in 2020. But in just a few days, Bubble will be landing in Priceline.

Initially, 11 Bubble products will be available at Priceline, starting at $20. The range will be available at 350 of Priceline’s stores from Thursday 10th October.

Bubble boasts selling a moisturiser every 10 seconds, with much of the hype credited to the ‘Sephora Kids’ trend – tweens and young teens flooding beauty stores to stock up on skincare.

However, Bubble is well aware of the concern around young children using certain products on their skin. Earlier this year when the brand launched an exfoliating serum in the US, it actually advised their younger customers not to use its products that exfoliate or treat blemishes.

  • Have never heard of this brand before but I think I will stay with my brand I always use much safer on the skin and the cost is pretty good too

  • I really don’t see how this product is any better than others on the market. It’s all just clever marketing and advertising ploys aimed at children. More natural products are so much better and you can often pick them up for a more affordable price point. Sukin also has their own teen range.

  • Advised not to use? Why not just make it so it’s safe!

  • I’ve seen these on tiktok. Not sure how suitable they are with my families sensitive skin and issues with eczema, but the branding is adorable and so fun. I

  • Oh how cool! I’ve heard of bubble before! I’d be so keen to try it when it is finally launched in Australia. As an ex-flight attendant, we were always on the hunt for the next best skincare trends. Looking forward to visiting Priceline to get my hands on some products :)

  • I don’t watch Tik Tok, so I tend to be spectacularly ignorant about “trends” that originate there. And to be honest, I’m not sure I’d really turn to it for expert advice in anything. Too many people with no real knowledge setting themselves up as experts. I suppose skin care is relatively safe, but some could do real harm.

  • I don’t understand wasting so much money on expensive branded skin carer products, except maybe a super basic wash and moisturizer. Aging is inevitable, and nothing can accurately prevent that – at least not without massive side effects. (Looking at you ozpemic).
Save your money! Drink water and eat fruit instead.

  • While inthinknits important for pre-teens/ teens to understand the importance of caring for their skin there are so many products that are completely unnecessary or even detrimental to young skin. I don’t know much about this product or its ingredients as I’ve never heard of it before now so I can’t really comment specifically on it.

  • There is so uch on the market already it makes me wonder how they all survive.

  • Until now I had not heard of this brand for using on skin. The name of the brand is rather cute and it will be interesting to see it in store and see if they have any samples. The price seems affordable but would need to see the size in store.

    • Yes the name is cute and the looks are colourful and fresh, so I can understand it appeals to the younger teens. Altough the price may be affordable for some, I think $20 per product can be quite a bit for a tween or young teen. They may not have a job yet and not a royal pocket stash.

      • It does indeed look like a colourful and fresh range and quite appealing to the eye. I agree with the cost of products generally being expensive and this and similar products might be good as gifts and at Christmas and other times. We always like to buy products when they are special and keep on eye out for when they do go on special.

  • I haven’t heard of this brand either.
I like that their products are formulated with natural ingredients, their products are dermatologist-tested and that they are fragrance free, cruelty free, vegan and dermatologist tested.
I wonder how exactly this product differs from other products to make it tailored for the youthful skin.

  • Haven’t heard of either of these. So happy I’ve never been a follower of trends, a costly waste of money
