For such little things, babies need a whole lot of stuff – including products that are gentle on their sensitive skin. But when it comes to sunscreen, there’s a great option that can be used by every family member – including those with sensitive skin – and babies.

A day out in the Aussie outdoors usually starts with getting the family sun-ready – including applying sunscreen. And if you’re a family which includes kids or adults with sensitive skin, it probably means having several different sunscreens on the go – and making sure everyone’s sunscreen is packed when you head out for the day.

Thankfully, new SunSense Sensitive Protect SPF50 makes family sun protection a cinch, with no need to use a different sun protection product for the littlest members of the family, or those with sensitive skin. The beach juggle is over!

SunSense

SunSense Sensitive Protect SPF50 is specifically formulated for sensitive skin and babies aged six months and older, so there’s no need to pack different sunscreen for the kids and adults – it’s a sunscreen for all.

And when we say for all, we mean it! As well as being designed for sensitive skin and babies over six months old, it also contains Vitamin B3 to moisturise the skin – so mums (and dads!) have been kept in mind as well.

Dermatologically tested and fragrance free, SunSense Sensitive Protect SPF50 is a beach day, waterpark play and every day sunscreen for the entire family. It’s also four hours water resistant, and comes in two sizes: 125mL (great for families) and a 50mL roll on which is so handy for reapplication on-the-go, or to pop in the kids’ school bags.

SunSense had families in mind when creating SunSense Sensitive Protect SPF50, in particular keeping sun protection simple. A moisturising, water resistant, fragrance free and dermatologically tested sunscreen for the whole family – even if they have sensitive skin. It means SPF 50 and UVA & UVB broad spectrum protection against Australia’s harsh sun, no matter what skin type you have.

New SunSense Sensitive Protect SPF50 is available from pharmacies now.

Always read the label and follow directions for use. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear to further reduce risk. Frequent re-application is required.

  • SIL should have asked first but the mum is overreacting. Breastmilk more than a body fluid is a food source and lots of mothers use it for conjunctivitis and other infections. SIL had best of intentions and didn’t hide what she did.
