When his partner suffered some complications after birth this dad never hesitated to step up and play mum!

Maxamillian Kendall Neubauer shared on Facebook how his wife, April had suffered some complications duringan emergency c-section.

He shared these amazing pictures saying, “This super rad nurse made a epically killer offer, and I was fortunate enough to slap on a suction cup fake nipple. Being the first to breast feed da baby!!!! “I did it for the moms” Eat your heart out!!”

He added just yesterday, “April is doing great off IV up and moving around a little today. Basically She is getting her Latina sass back…god help us.”

His post has gone VIRAL with over 22,000 shares and 32,000 reactions.

Loads of comments including:

Of course there were a few that commented how gross it was, but lets ignore them.

  • Well done!!! If the baby is progressing it proves it is successful. I hope more Dads manage to do this in a hospital situation.

  • Great dad and he helped not only to bond with his child but to help his wife breastfeed also if she wanted to do so once she was able. Not many dads would do it, let alone put it out there on social media.

  • I’m glad everyone was safe in the end and good on him
For playing mum in the early moments not many men get that opportunity. By this i mean it’s a great bonding opportunity and one some men envy.

  • Pretty sure he could have achieved the same result with a bottle, just less publicity that way I guess

  • Beautiful thing to do for his newborn bub and for his wife. Haters will hate but all that really matters here was bub able to get breastmilk in those first hours/days.
