I had a big birthday challenge this year. My kids (two girls and one boy) were turning 5 and 7 and I decided to do a combined party. But I needed to find a theme and entertainer that would be suitable for two different age groups as well as keep both boys and girls entertained.

My kids were a bit bored with the usual superhero character entertainer and my son pulled a crazy face when my girls suggested a fairy. So I needed something that excited all of them. Dancing and Singing! They all love being superstars and there’s no better team to get the party dancing up a storm, than Bop Till You Drop!

Bop Till You Drop are the best in the business when it comes to disco and karaoke parties. They’ve had over 15 years experience getting it right and whenever I’ve seen them in birthday party action, I’m blown away at how they manage to get the kids so engaged and just having fun.

So here are my best reasons as to why you should pick Bop Till You Drop for your kids’ next birthday party:

1) The Disco and Karaoke Party Specialists

The Bop Till You Drop team came fully equipped to our birthday party and set up a complete karaoke set, with kid-height microphones and speakers. Our kids were made to feel like the ultimate pop stars, coming up on stage to belt out their favourite tunes. Prior to the party, I had given Bop Till You Drop a list of my kids’ pick of music so the playlist at their party was familiar and featured all their best tunes.

I loved that each kid had a chance to sing at the microphone and feel special in the spotlight. Our entertainer taught the children some awesome dance moves and the kids had a blast letting loose and bopping away.

2) Parents get to relax

One of the best bits about having Bop Till You Drop at our party was that they took care of everything. I just needed to provide the venue and the food and they did everything else. The entertainers kept every kid engaged for the full two hours of our party. Which meant that the parents could just relax with a sneaky glass of wine. I actually got to chat to grown-ups while the kids were having fun – that’s never happened before!

3) Different Themes and Combo Parties

Bop Till You Drop recently expanded their offering to include science, slime, craft, sport and frozen themed disco’s. We actually decided to opt for a sports and disco combo party. My kids love being active so it was perfect to get the party going with some fun obstacle courses, parachute games, relays and tee-ball. After the sports, we had an ice-block break before the disco dancing got going.

The combo parties are really the best of both worlds – I love the idea of a science + disco party or the photo booth + disco party and my girls would love the pamper + disco party.

4) Parties For Kids Of All Ages

Bop Till You Drop offers party options for kids of all ages. There are mini-bopper parties for kids up until 4 years old and even teen bopper parties for kids from 9 years and up, which caters for kids too grown up for an entertainer, but too young for a DJ.

There’s even the ultra-cool stretch hummer + disco combo party – I know my kids would love this as they get older.

Bop Till You Drop also offer an all-inclusive service, which includes party bags, light up dance floor, t-shirts and party bags!

  • Sounds like a great party to have. Music is so fun.

  • I myself would love the disco and karaoke party. I can’t sing a note nor can I dance but that doesn’t stop me from doing either lol lol

  • Good to have party options with different themes for children of all ages. I wonder if MoM could offer discounts made on bookings by MoM members…

  • The charge for this is a bit expensive unless the cost of the venue they use is included. I have sent them a message to get more details besides what is on their limited details.
