Hello!

Woolworths has announced its latest free collectibles – and they’ve already captured our 90s-loving hearts.

Disney Fix-ems are the latest Woolworths collectibles, following on from Woolworths Bricks. They’re reusable, woven patches which can either be stuck onto surfaces like drink bottles, phones and books, or permanently ironed onto fabric – hello denim jacket patch!

“Fans will paste them, create them, wear them and reuse them in so many creative ways – from customising jackets and sneakers to showcasing their bags and bike helmets – the possibilities are endless,” The Walt Disney Company Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Products for Australia and New Zealand Meagan Sanders said.

There are 36 Fix-ems to collect in store, featuring Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars characters, including Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Dory from Finding Nemo and Darth Vader.

The patches are made from at least 80% recycled material, and can also be recycled in-store. You’ll get one Fix-em patch for every $30 spent at Woolworths, with bonus patches available on eligible products.

  • We weren’t a big fan of these ones this time round.

  • I do like the idea of these more that pieces of cardboard all around the house

  • Unfortunately us parents don’t have much of a choice but to collect these trashy collectables. Our kids nag us for them. Though glad it makes kids happy, these collectables are a waste of space. $30 for 1 collectable…. Really! Also to top it off, our local woolies ran out weeks ago but are still advertising them all over the store. This happens everytime time. 1woolies and Coles please stop these type of tacky collectables

  • Unfortunately we don’t spend that much at Woolworth to get any.

  • A little disappointed when I opened the pack not that good as they make out kids are bored with them already

  • TBH I was underwhelmed by these and I love Disney. We’re doing the HP ones at coles instead

  • We shop at both Woolworths and Coles and have got some of these. To be honest, these don’t do anything for me and although my kids get a real kick out of getting them, I don’t see the point and aren’t disappointed if we don’t spend enough to get one. My kids are disappointed though if we don’t spend enough.
I really liked the little garden thing they’ve done a few times, with the seedlings. Definitely had more fun with them and the kids got to learn about growing their own garden.

  • Love these. A much more sustainable option

  • They look good. I’m just glad they are made from 80% recycled material.

  • These look fun and would be great on my kids clothes but my daughter prefers the HP collection at coles

  • I won’t use them but I know of a little boy who will love them provided Mum agrees. At least these will be more versatile. I only shop once a month so I’ll probably just get plenty of the same one but that’s okay. I’ll just share them around.
