For those of us who love the holidays, the days leading up to Christmas are just as important as the big festive day itself.

The shopping, cooking, baking, decorating and present wrapping are great fun and a huge part of the whole holiday season. So, to make these happy events even more fun and memorable, you can amp up the enjoyment by adding some yummy treats to the mix.

Following are some good snack ideas to incorporate into your Christmas holidays. Your decorating and gift wrapping will become festive events on their own when paired with these delicious bites.

Of course, these will also be a hit when served during your big Christmas dinner too.

Treats to enjoy while trimming the tree

What better way to decorate the tree than by doing it as you indulge in delicious sweets. Whistler’s Chocolate have released some perfectly decadent and fun freckled chocolate trees and stars from just $6 – the kids will love them, you’ll love them and they could even be used as unique (and very tasty) Christmas tree decorations!

Another mouth-watering treat to try while decorating is Bettenay’s Wildberry and Macadamia Nougat. This bar is made with fresh Macadamia nuts sourced from Margaret River which are then lightly roasted and combined with oven dried berries from Australia and Canada, French Vanilla Bean and sourced honey. The bar is encased in rice paper for the perfect Christmas touch. Taking pieces of this tasty nougat while trimming the tree will surely enhance your cozy decorating memories for years to come.

Yummies to pair with your Christmas gift wrapping

The above mentioned treats will pair with trimming the tree just as well as with your gift wrapping. But, there are even more delicious way to boost your gift wrapping party. Open a Charlie’s Cookies Christmas Mince Tarts package and place it in the middle of the table where you are wrapping. Sharing these with all your little helpers will make you wish the wrapping never ended! Or at least, not as long as the tarts remain unfinished. These mince tarts are traditionally made with Charlie’s signature fruity mince and include an adorable hand-cut shortbread star on top.

Delicious ways to enhance your Christmas dinner

Last but not least, here are some scrumptious items to supplement your Christmas dinner. For adding a delicious flavour to your magnificent Christmas banquet, you can add Ogilvie & Co Golden Truffle Oil. This decadent oil will give a very special touch to all your dishes. Use it on your mashed potatoes, Christmas soups, or any other creation you cook up and it will enhance the flavour in a delicious way. This oil comes in a 24ct gold leaf bottle to make it that much more decadent.

A much anticipated part of all Christmas dinners is the dessert. This year, why not finish off your delicious meal with some premium pudding from the Pudding Lady. This yummy treat has a traditional flavour that is super moist and not to mention, you can also buy a gluten free version too! Everyone is sure to love it.

With these amazingly tasty treats, your countdown to Christmas won’t only be fun, but it will be filled with opportunities to indulge in excellent holiday treats.

By having these tasty items on hand you will even entice those in your family that are not exactly into the duties of Christmas.

It will be a great chance to lure everyone around the table, or the floor, and make wonderful memories as you eat, wrap, decorate, and get ready for a wonderful Christmas together.
