Zoe Saldana has confirmed she is pregnant with twins!

In an appearance in LA during the week, Zoe Saldana confirmed that she is expecting twins with husband Marco Perego.

When asked by E! if she’d be dressing up for Halloween this year, Zoe looked down at her blossoming belly and said, ‘I might. I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice.’

The news of twins was unofficially announced in September when good friend Brittany Spears let it slip whilst talking to Entertainment Tonight. Brittany said “Who knows? That’s a very good idea. But she’s pregnant with twins right now. So I’m sure she’s got a huge future ahead of her.” when talking about working with the Avatar actress in the future.

Zoe, 36 and Marco, 35 married back in June 2013 and confirmed that they were expecting in July 2014 when Zoe was thought to be 3 months along.

Been there, done that, rest, rest and more rest during the pregnancy, because you wont get it once they get here, and you are not superwoman, take as much help as you can get it and delegate, spend your time looking after your babies and yourself, let someone else do the housework and cooking, and rope in hubby, it is his problem as well, but there is nothing as wonderful as seeing two babies develop side by side, and the other thing that is vital is a chart, who had feeds and changes when, who has done a wee and who has done a poo, might seem silly but when sleep deprivation sets in it is easy to not notice that one baby has not used his bowels or one may be sleepier than the other and miss a feed, one gets two then the other gets really cranky a few hours later, it may sound silly but it happens.

It will be such a crazy and busy time. I couldn’t imagine having twins! All the best to her and Marco. My advice is to take all offers of help!

Congratulations to them both. Hopefully they won’t need to try again for company for one of them. Sadly with twins there is always a risk of one not surviving. I will keep my fingers crossed that all goes well and they are all healthy. That is of the upmost importance.
