#‎BREAKING Qld Police are seeking urgent public assistance

Queensland Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate two girls aged three and four.

The girls were taken from Raceview in Ipswich around 9.40am and may be at significant risk.

A man, who is known to the girls, was seen putting them into a car.

The car is described as being a Silver Hyundai with Victorian registration 1DY3NX.

The man is from Townsville and is described as Caucasian in appearance, of a solid build and around 165cm tall with sandy hair and blue eyes.

There is no further information available at this time.

Girls located – Two girls who were taken from Raceview this morning have been located safe and well.

Information provided by members of the public led police to a recreational parkland at Springfield.

A 33-year-old man is now assisting police with their enquiries.

The media and the public are thanked for their valuable assistance which helped police locate the children safely.

UPDATE – Image has been released of the man who they are seeking assistance from. Both girls are described as Caucasian in appearance, of a fair complexion with sandy-blonde hair.

If the girls know the man they would trust him. The parent/s may not have been aware that the man cannot be trusted either.

So glad the girls were located and safely returned. Its hard when the perpetrator is known to little kids as others (initially at least) may perceive the innocent recognition as a positive. I hope the perpetrator is charged to prevent further incidences of the same.
