It was my husband’s birthday on Father’s Day, he, our daughter and I stayed at a lovely hotel near the city and went out for pizza.

These look delish! I made good ol’ pancakes with golden syrup. Can’t go wrong with pancakes. Unless he’s gluten free and dairy free.

Being a Pom – good old Pie, Mash and Mushy Peas is the order for the day!

I love those Turkish Gozleme. This year for breakfast I’ve planned waffels, yogurt and strawberries. For lunch some wrap with chicken breast. And for dinner a chicken korma with rice and pappadums. Apple pie for dessert.

All these are delicious – which one to choose for Father’s Day?

I didn’t even think of the special meal for him, was thinking only of the gift. These are all fantastic ideas.

OMG, these all look amazing. I haven’t considered Father’s Day meals yet. My husband will be working all weekend not only coordinating Senior & Junior Footy Finals, but Assistant Coaching my son’s team late Sunday afternoon. Plan B or eating out I think needs to be considered.

Some nice ideas here ! i might try the beef & guinness pie or a whisky blue cheese burger with guinness cheese sauce.

  We always encourage him to choose something different and cook a new recipe for him – good to challenge the tastebuds.

Loving the fresh jalapenos on the hot dogs but the Gozleme has me intrigued will look up the recipe. Great ideas.

OMG all the Father’s Day recipes are delicious but my favourite is the whiskey blue cheese burger,it look’s amazing!
