Mothers who didn’t know they were pregnant, to mothers who were in labour for months (yes months!), some pregnancy stories are just straight up weird. Check out these five crazy pregnancies!

1.  Woman doesn’t even realise she is pregnant!

After waking up one morning with severe stomach and back pain, Jennifer West was perplexed. What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday with friends turned into a trip to the hospital after her husband convinced her. The pair found out that they were going to be parents, and they would be parents VERY soon. Jennifer was surprised as she had been having her monthly periods, talk about a holiday to remember!

2. 75 days in labour!

A woman by the name of Joanna from Poland was pregnant with triplets when her labour started preterm. One of the babies was born early and died shortly after, but the doctor and mother, determined to save the babies, formulated a long and painful plan. The mother was instructed to keep her feet up in order to keep the babies in utero for as long as possible. After two and a half months of pain, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy and girl.

3. Youngest grandmother, at 23

For some people, being a mother at 23 years old is young, but not Rifca Stanescu, who was a grandmother at the ripe young age of 23! She had her baby when she was 12, and her daughter had hers when she was 11!

4. Woman gives birth to whopping 12 pound 3 ounce baby!

After six hours of gruelling pushing, Kendall Stewardson gave birth to her first baby, weighing in at over twelve pounds!

5. 12 year old gives birth on field trip

A twelve year old girl started having intense stomach cramping and back pain during a school field trip. An ambulance was called, and to their surprise, they found that she was on the brink of giving birth. They found a building nearby and she gave birth to a healthy baby. No one, not even the girl knew that she was pregnant!
