These days, announcing a pregnancy is serious business and there are so many gorgeous little ways to announce to the world that a little person is about to join your tribe.

????Yep, you read that right!!!???? Mike and I are expecting triplets late spring, early summer 2019. We are beyond excited for Tank to become a big brother to these 3 crazy kiddos and are still in a bit of shock. SO many things to prepare for between now and then. The details: we are almost 13 wks, they are Dichorionic Triamniotic triplets (aka one baby has its own placenta and two share a placenta (identical twins), but have separate sacks), they look perfect and are growing great, full term will be 32 weeks (still wrapping our minds around that), non-invasive genetic testing cannot be performed on triplets. Finding three came as quite a shock as we are not on fertility meds. As one dear friend so perfectly put it, “Why not? Things have been moving fast but also seemingly a lot slower around here. We haven’t been as quick to finish some projects (fireplace…?????) and I haven’t been as present on IG lately. Well, here is the reason! Along with starting a new job, moving towns, renovating a farmhouse, writing a dissertation, and general life of a mom, we decided it was a good time to multiply our offspring! Baby boy #2 is headed our way in June. I’ve been exhausted in the evenings and unable (read: unwilling) to work on anything once I get home. Falling asleep by 7:30 puts a bit of a damper on time for house projects. However, energy is starting to return and we will have some fun baby room projects coming up. We are excited for this new adventure, and it’s safe to say Barrett is over the moon about a baby brother!
