David Bowie’s son announces late father was to become grandad.

One month after David Bowie passed away, his son, Duncan Jones, has announced he is to be a father for the first time.

The 44-year-old tweeted the news.

  • I believe in one person passing and another arriving – certainly not in their place, but it’s just the natural scheme of things. This is a lovely surprise and something that can bring joy to their lives again.

  • That is a lovely way to announce a pregnancy. Its sad bub will never meet his grandfather but I’m sure he will be surrounded by love and be told stories of his family history.
